Increase some of the stats to top 5's or top 10's instead of just the highest for each county or country. The ability to look back through players history, instead of just last season.

I was playing ICC 2005 this morning and I was thinking how nice it would be to see the top 10 scores in test history etc. But as you say, nothing much has changed since ICC 2000 came out, so why should we expect anything to change?

these are all very good point i would also like the ability to bring up a replacement for an injured player. i also would like a higher limit on the amount of players you can selct. it would be also kl if there is development team that you can work with and finnaly introduce them to international circuirt

its true that there hasnt been many changes but aparently theres going to be the next game?

The only this game will ever keep my attention for more than a few days is for it too move towards a football manager style.

Lets see a better transfer system (I know that there isn't really one in cricket but for the sake of the game lets create something), more day to day interaction, press reports\comments, player coaching and less linear game play. There is a brilliant game potentially, it just needs the right development and a little forward thinking.

I want something more than just managing matches (which often just involves clicking the mouse button once an over).

As ive said before, if you want a top draw cricket management sim, then start begging the guru's of these types of games to make it. Sports interactive.

Thats actually against ICC rules, so no
As if it doesn't happen though, I'm not saying it should be allowed, but that's part of a home ground advantage.

More sixes!!!! Playing stats would be a nice touch, so the truely world class performers are the same on the game. It gets quite annoying watching some county trundler run through your team on a flat deck, then when you bowl you bring on Shoaib and he gets smashed everywhere.

yeh that would be handy, and why is it if you need 12 from the last over they look for singles, even on full aggresion?

Yeah is quite annoying. There should be different types of aggression, looking to work the ball around for singles like in the middle overs, and like you said, go mad and try to hit boundaries aggression.

I would also like a sort of running aggression if that makes sense, like when your batting choose how aggresive you want to run.

More domestic leagues would do me, and perhaps also an option to hire support staff, ie coach and fitness people, who could get more out of the players and get them back from injury faster, as opposed to just more coach and physio sessions.

Oh yeah, and for the game to keep the stats of retired players, so you can view them against current players.

i think the aggression setting is the big one for the game aspect. its sooooo frustrating when your playing a one day international 5/6 wickets in hand, 3 overs left, full aggression, pietersen at the crease, flintoff to come in next!!!!!! and they play for singles!!! a few more 6's would be more realistic! especially in 20/20 games

I wish I could pick separate squads for test matches and one day games, instead of having to pick one squad of 18 players. 16 for each would be better.
and the scores in 20-20 are still too low. they need to alter the way these games are worked out.
