Bhai, you are great!
So, he was the first person whose name came to my mind.

No offence to RCB supporters.[DOUBLEPOST=1586867813][/DOUBLEPOST]

:zim: :bwl: Brian Vitori

Nominated by
: @deleted member

Test stats: 12 wickets @ 38.66 (1 5WI, best 5/61) in 4 matches
First-class stats: 146 wickets @ 28.53 (7 5WI, best 7/62) in 46 matches

Again, there are worse players out there than the bent-armed Zimbabwean, but there's no doubt that Brian Vitori failed to live up to his early impact in the international game. Of course there were the back-to-back five-fors in his first two ODI matches, but also the match-defining five-for in Zimbabwe's 2013 win over Pakistan. Vitori was 23 when he did that, and that remains his most recent Test match. Oh and he can also slog a very long ball, but that's not really the point in a Test draft.

That's actually a decent start to a bowling attack.

:ind: :bwl: Pankaj Singh

Nominated by
: @Nilay_60

Test stats: 2 wickets @ 146.00 (best 2/113) in 2 matches
First-class stats: 472 wickets @ 23.76 (28 5WI, best 8/32) in 117

Pankaj Singh deserves better than to be remembered for his horrific Test bowling average. Even in those two Tests he was unlucky, but more than that he has spent 15 years running in and bowling his heart out in the Ranji Trophy despite that competition being well known for not favouring its fast bowlers. His Test call-up was well-earned, as are his twilight years picking up slightly easier wickets playing for Puducherry in the Plate Division.

And the player goes to... @El Loco

His team so far:
:ken: :ar: Brijal Patel
:ind: :bwl: Pankaj Singh
:ken: :bwl: Alfred Luseno

At last, a little bit of quality in your side.

:ban: :bwl: Anwar Hossain Monir

Nominated by
: @ahmedleo414

Test stats: 0 wickets (econ. 5.29) in 3 matches
First-class stats: 76 wickets @ 31.39 (2 5WI, best 7/81) in 30 matches

Oof. 58-5-307-0 are some pretty ugly career bowling figures. There's no way around the fact that he absolutely was not ready for Test cricket when he was picked, and it absolutely sent his confidence for a nosedive. After returning home from England in 2005, he could barely buy a wicket for Dhaka Division and never played for them again after a wicketless 2006/7 season. A real shame, because before that tour he really wasn't that bad.

:eng: :wk: Barney Gibson

Nominated by
: None (Reserve player)

First-class stats: 1 not out and 6 dismissals (6 caught) in 1 match

When Barney Gibson made all sorts of headlines by making his Yorkshire debut at just 15 and keeping beautifully, the world looked to be his for the taking. He's now 24, and it's been five years since he retired from cricket to go and do something else; anything else. I really can relate to that outlook, and at least he lives on in a Cricket Captain save I had on one of the older games, where he played about 200-odd Tests for England, averaging about 14 with the bat, but setting a world record for catches.

And the player goes to... @Yash.

His team so far:
:ken: :bat: Francis Otieno
:eng: :wk: Barney Gibson
:ind: :bwl: Anurag Thakur

This is already looking like a bit of a tail, but at least you don't have to worry about a keeper.

:ind: :bwl: Krishna Kumar

Nominated by
: @Na Maloom Afraad

First class stats
: 1 wicket @ 375.00 (best 1/31) in 7 matches

There comes a point where cricket just isn't your calling, and for Kerala's Kalathingal Krishnakumar that point must have come somewhere in his first-class career. Cricketing life never got any better than the one wicket he got on debut; even in the second innings there his two overs if medium pace went for 20. After that he managed eight more first-class nought-fors. I just wish I knew why he kept getting reselected.

:ban: :bwl: Ranjan Das. Or maybe Mahmudur Rahman.

Nominated by: @Bevab

Test stats: 1 wicket @ 72.00 (best 1/64) in 1 match
First-class stats: 36 wickets @ 41.25 (1 5WI, best 5/88) in 19 matches

One of the litany of seamers picked by Bangladesh in the early 2000s when they were still children, Ranjan Das's debut shortly after his 18th birthday proved to be his only Test match. His left-arm medium pace wasn't sustainable - despite being good enough to take the wicket of Sadagopan Ramesh, it was also taking a huge toll on his body. Das changed his name to Mahmudur Rahman and his bowling style to left-arm spin before leaving the game behind entirely at the age of 21 and finding work at a bank.

And the player goes to... @Nilay_60

His team so far:

Indirectly yes; as @ahmedleo414 will attest, he was on the reserve list from the start

:sco: :ar: Euan McIntyre

Nominated by
: @Yash.

First-class stats: 7 runs @ 3.50 (best 6) and 0 wickets in 2 matches

We talk about obscure picks and this one might be the finest of all. Seriously, where on earth did you think of him from? Euan McIntyre played for Scotland in the early 1980s with no discernible effect: his batting was unremarkable, while his bowling wasn't anything much either. He did go on to become Scotland's Team Manager for quite some time, but was ultimately just a pretty good club cricketer for Heriot's.

And the player goes to... @Master Bates

His team so far:
:aus: :bat: Walter Giffen
:ban: :bwl: Sajedul Islam
