So the Wildcats management want us to change rules in order to suit their poor upgrade choices?
Seriously? Poor upgrade choices? We upgraded our team based on what we knew at the time. If we knew about this rule, we would’ve made a different decision. You can’t expect us to know about a rule that wasn’t announced.

no we dont want you to change the rules

all we want that this should have been said well before

accept that such an imp rule was meant to be told before the auctions/signings

What did you guys expect? Only a handful of skill upgraded players play every match and the rest must sit on the sideline?
Come now Wildcats!
Do you guys not want to allow all signups to have sufficient game time?

well if its so obvious

why did the management didn't said this before?

the only thing we are concerned about is, why didnt you specify this before?

does the management this its okay to not give out such rules before?

We expected that there would not be any limits on the XI, apart from those required by Cricksim, as none were ever announced. Simple.

What's the problem irt the rotational system? Reason why you guys object to it publicly rather than message us asking about it? What would you have done differently?

This is a PC players league, of course teams are expected to rotate their lineups in order to give the signups all equal match time.
Teams have also usually been able to play their players who are most active - not having to bench some active players just so all signups play. It's also a slight benefit to the teams with one fewer player - as they can play more of their upgraded players per match.

Everyone should get a go, but every second match is quite restrictive on team planning - especially with other rules on team composition like number of particular roles in the XI.

A minimum count of matches per player would achieve the same goal - rather than rotating.

Busy with that :) Will announce the new lineup rules in a bit.

Nothing specific, mate, just posted it in the General Chat.[DOUBLEPOST=1595595915][/DOUBLEPOST]We agree everyone should get some game time. But maybe have a rule that everyone should at least play one match? Also, teams with fewer players have an advantage, as they have to rotate less

I agree with both sides here, keeping a rotational policy is good, everyone gets a chance and a team can't just ignore the bench. However any rule should not be introduced in the middle, let alone after all squads have been made and upgrades alloted. Making it so that every player has to play a minimum number of times in the season instead of once per 2 matches will be fair to everyone

Lineup rule updated:
Seeing that both formats are double round Robin and knockouts. Each PC player must play at least two out of the six matches before the halfway mark. (3 x FC and 3 x List A)
Team owners, as far as you can; please try and give PC players all sufficient game time :p

I have a question here. Looking at all the leagues run by cricsim I can see that in FC and tests batting is kinda unrealistic with 70-80% of the runs are always scored in boundaries. Why does the sim work that way? Is there no way to reduce the boundary percentage? :)

As soon as MattW comes , in another sense .... :cheers

Translation : This should be the fear . I liked your fear .

Not really. The enormous number of fours hit by players in First Class matches simulated by CrickSim cannot be controlled. I have tried numerous rating and have failed to reduce the number of boundaries. The run rates can be controlled though.
