I will be starting a story on pro evo where i play out the premiership from this year. Obviously I'm not going to play every match and instead i will play what In my opinion is the best tie from that week. The rest of the results will be the same as in real life so the premiership table will be quite accurate. At the end of the season I will play the champions league and FA cup finals.

Sky have retained the premiership coverage and their main man Andy Gray will be previewing the teams for the season ahead.

Andy Grays Premiership Preview

Arsenal
fffcb0.jpg
Arsenal have a very young squad and because of this I can't see them quite managing to challenge for the title this year. They play the best football in the league at times and it will be very exciting to see how Wengers new generation of players copes with his total football ideals. They will look to hold off Spurs and secure 4th place again however this year they are capable of being shocked.Weneger will look for a good cup run following last years champions league runners up medal. They will want to go that little bit further. Andys predicton-4th
Aston Villa
gdfdfka6.gif
Under the management of Martin O'Neill they will look to return this big club back to its glory days. With new owner Randy lerner they are aiming high perhaps even Europe to return Villa to its glory days. Andys prediction-8th
Blackburn
dfdfpa7.gif
A fantastic season last year saw Mark Hughes' men make it into 6th place an Europe. Perhaps it will be a little tougher this year with having even more games to play. Blackburn will be pleased to make Europe this year with their cup involvements and the loss of star player Craig Bellamy to Liverpool. Andys prediction-9th
Bolton
boltonys9.gif
Big sams team will look to push for Europe again following a relatively dissapointing season last year. With the arrival of Nicholas Anelka Bolton are looking to grow into a big club. There is a genuine belief that they can grab the 4th chapions league spot and having missed out on the England job Sam Allardyce will be looking to show the FA why he was the man for their job.Andys prediction-6th
Charlton
charltonwa5.gif
After the loss of club legend and permanent fixture Alan Curbishley they will hope Ian Dowie can build on this and take them forward. However I think people are under-estimating the brilliance of Curbishleys job and this season Charlton will do well to stay up. Andys prediction-15th
Chelsea
fsdfsxp9.jpg
The champions and rightly favourites for the title will look to retain the crown for the third year in a row. this however will be an incredibly tough thing to acheieve and I doubt they can do it. They have the firepower but the Blues are focused on Europe and I think this could be there downfall as well as new signings Ballack and Shevchenko taking a while to settle in.Obviously the favourites but I see it going to the north this year. Andys prediction-2nd
Everton
dfgffdfdx0.gif
The blue half of merseyside are looking for a big season. Manager David Moyes has already stated Europe is his aim and with the quality of player they've got and the support they could certainly get there. Andys prediction-7th
Fulham
dfggcg8.gif
Fulham will be pleased to avoid relegation again. They could struggle with the loss of Steed Malbranque and it will be interesting to see how coach Chris Coleman copes with the restricted squad.I think they will just have the quality to avoid the drop. Andys prediction-17th
Liverpool
dfgdfgls4.jpg
Liverpool have made some interesting signings in the summer however it looks like they still lack a truly world class centre forward. To mount a serious title challenge they will need gerrard to be firing all season and Benitez to bring his European qualitys into the premiership.I can't see them having the quality to overhaul Manchester United or champions chelsea.Andys prediction-3rd
Manchester City
dadsads8.jpg
The blues will want to sustain mid-table mediocrity again under the management of Stuart Pearce. There squad has a few new signings but it looks like it will be the same story all over agin for City living in the shadow of the red half of Manchester.Andys prediction-14th
Manchester United
manutdlogonn1.jpg
sir Alex Ferguson feels his young squad will come of age this year and his transitional period is over. They began to show towards the end of last year what they could do and having retained the services of Christiano Ronaldo and wayne Rooney keeping the peace they have a side capable of beating anyone. I can only see this squad taking first place. Andys prediction-1st (no bias :p)
Middlesbrough
dfgdfgcx1.jpg
Under the inexperienced management of Gareth Southgate Uefa cup runners up Borough will look to build upon this and show why they are caable of beating anyone. Southgate will want to show why it was the squads talent that got Steve McClaren the England job not his tactics in tha ridiculously exciting UEFA cup run. Andys prediciton-12th
Newcastle
dfffgjy7.gif
The Geordies remain a massive club and have some extremely talented players there however I doubt that Glenn Roeder is the man to take them forward and it will be next year under a new name that the club really gets returned to former glorys. We all hope to see them do well and they deserve it but i feel it won't be the league that brings them success.Andys prediction-10th
Portsmouth
fsfsdfqc5.gif
Pompey under the managment of Harry Redknapp have really been doing some deals in the transfer market and this squad will have no trouble avoiding the drop. It's a club on the up and with players like Sol Campbell and David James they can really perform above the fans expectations. Andys prediction-11th
Reading
22437254ls9.gif
Full of confidence, new players and a quality side reading will have the ability to avoid the drop. I predict they could do the same as Wigan last year and surprise everybody by coming straight up from the championship and finishing high.andys prediction-13th
Sheffield United
dfssdfzl5.jpg
The Blades have a tough job and it will be fun to see manager neil Warnock stood alongside "the special one" on the touchlines! I don't think they will have the quality to avoid the drop however they may just have the doggedness and quality to survive. I can't see it however. Andys prediction-19th
Tottenham Hotspur
adsdsadaur6.jpg
Spurs will look to build upon last years momentus season with good cup runs in Europe and domestically. They will hope to challenge the gooners for that 4th champions league spot but will they be able to maintain last years form with the extra matches? I think they will just be edged on quality.Andys prediction-5th
Watford
watford180cd2.jpg
Watford are really going to struggle. They were tipped for the drop to league 1 last year and now this. Its one step too far and I think they will learn lot but just not be good enough. Valuable ecperience but the odds are against them.Andys prediction-20th
West Ham
westhamunitedxh5.gif
the Hammers had a wonderful year last year but this season it could be different. Despite making the FA cup final and coming sooooooo close they will find out that the second season is always the hardest. A quality squad but with all the specualtion of take overs it could cause seriosu problems and I see them just avoiding the drop.Andys prediction-17th
Wigan Athletic
ffdsfyr1.jpg
Wigan are a small club and rally shouldn't have done what they did last year. Their squad has lost a few names in the summer and I think they will just lack the quality to avoid the drop. Andys prediction-18th

Let the season begin!

Jamie Redknapps Match 1 preview
Chelsea will undoubtedly be favourites wanting to get the season off to a flyer and assert their dominance.I think they will crusie to a 3-0 victory in typical Chelsea fashion and send a message out ot their rivals. Heres how I see the 2 teams lining up:

But you hate them both the same amount.

Chelsea: Title contenders to Man.U

Man.City: Where shall i start:p

So it will be a draw.1-1

Saturdays games
Arsenal 1-1 Aston Villa
Bolton 2-0 Tottenham
Everton 2-1 Watford
Newcastle 2-1 Wigan
Portsmouth 3-0 Blackburn
Reading 3-2 Middlesbro'
Sheff Utd 1-1 Liverpool
West Ham 3-1 Charlton

Kanu was the man who starred for Portsmouth as they cruised to victory over UEFA cup spot winners Blackburn. Portsmouth have shown jus how well they're developing! Zamora scored twice as West Ham beat London rivals charlton. They look like continuing last years great form!

Welcome to Stamford bridge. Following an emphatic 5-1 victory over Fulham the pressures on the champions with Sit Alexs man looking bigger and better than ever. Will they be rusty or will they open the season in emphatic style. We'l soon find out. The starting XI's have been anounced and heres how Andy sees the champions lining up:
chelseateamar4.jpg

This Chelsea team is all about the midfield engine rom. There will be a tight quartet with Ballack o the left,Essien on the right,Lampard getting forward and supporting the strikers and Makele sitting back in his typical role. The width will come from the full backs and expect to see new singing Ballack working all over the pitch even on that left hand side because he's such a versatile player. Shevchenko will also provide a wide option with his ablity allowing him to play anywhere up front. It will be interesting to see how the new Chelsea works!
Thanks for that Andy, any looks at the city line up?
mancitytk3.png
There just going to go for a basic 4-4-2 lneup with Corradi and Samaras up front. They'll try and press and Chelsea nd play at a high tempo but they'll struggle today.
Thanks now lets go to Geoff Shreeves for the pre match interviews
Pre match interviews at Stamford bridge
thanks I'm speaking to Jose Mourinho 1st
Geoff Shreeves: Jose looking forward to the new season?
Jose: yes i can't wait to see the new boys Ballack,Boulahrouz and Sheva out on the pitch showing why they are at Chelsea. This year i cink will be the biggest year yet
Geoff Shreeves:how do you see the game going today?
Jose: I cink we will have to much for Manchester as they are at our ground and we are the champions.
Geoff Shreeves:How wil the team be lining up today? Have the boys in the studio got it right?
Jose:yes mr Gray was 100% correct. I may have to recruit him! We will try to play more centrally but when we get the ball wide we be big threat.
Geoff Shreeves:Will you be focusing more on te Chapions league this year? There have been rumours of you losing your job if theres no European success...
Jose:My job is safe. Me,Roman and Peter all know the clubs aim for this year. I want to win Europe but we will try to win every game we play and I cink this team can do it
Geoff Shreeves:thanks Jose
Jose:thank you.
Geoff Shreeves: I'm now speaking to Man City manager Stuart Pearce.
Geoff Shreeves:Glad the seasons back Stuart?
Stuart Pearce:yes thanks Geoff,we've had a good pre-season and now really want to move the club on and challenge for a top half finish
Geoff Shreeves:What are you looking to do this season?
Stuart Pearce:As i said we want a good cup run and to develop a few of our younger players in the process of getting to the top half. We're looking to build the club up in the hope of challenging for Europe in the next few years.
Geoff Shreeves:How do you see the game going today?
Stuart Pearce:It's going to be very tough and Chelsea are rightly favourites. The lads have just got to go out their and give it 100% in the hope of catching Chelsea cold now the seasons just starting. As long as we play well i'll be pleased regardless of the result
Geoff Shreeves:thanks Stuart
Stuart Pearce: cheers babe

You have half an hour to get your predicitons in!(Well actually until i update but I will be doing so in around half an hour
