As someone in the forums rightly pointed out, the reviews are really vague..
The reviews are the last thing one should go by and as far as i am concerned i dont even go by the critics reviews for movies, simply because they cannot determine if a movie is good or bad for others...they go by their taste..
Similarly as far as the Xbox and Ps2 reviews are concerned, they have been carried out by people who are not very inclined towards the game of cricket and probably dont even no how it works, if they find it hard to bat, its because every layman would think likewise.
People who follow reviews really are being led by a bunch of people with blindfolds on...
anyways to really determine the games strength and faults its imperitive that the game be released and than reviewed over by a person who has a passion for the game and knows what he is doing.
As far as the demo i would like to comment, that the demo does not even feature 1/4th of the components and features of a game. Before you know it the demo is over. So whether the demo is released right now or after the game release it doesnt matter. If you are skeptical about buying either of the games, then you can wait till the demo comes out, cause i know none of us have money to waste if we are not sure about something. In the case of Cricket 2005 we will be able to get much more feedback through personal testimonials and recommendations before the demo is out. So there is no point in cribbing for one. As far as BLIC is concerned its great that they are releasing a demo, but do you really want to wait 3 weeks before the game is out, cause a 2 over demo wont satisfy much, now will it!
