This is it - Ashes Cricket (Beta Feedback)

Does BA Team and Ashes Cricket have anything up their sleeves as surprise that has not been revealed for us in this thread, that we can expect while actually taking the controller in the hands ?
 
What we slowly came to realise is how everything is very fragily conncted to each other. We have the tendency to just say add this or fix this.....and they did and a build came back and something else seemingly unconnected was out of balance and had to be looked at again. Let their once and for all be no doubt about their passion, their commitment......people wonder why Ross gets so angry sometimes here......I am sure it has to do with the fact that he sees the blood and guts and sweat that his employees pour into their creations for someone feckwit to call them money grabbers or not caring about what they do........we got new builds at all times of the day, all days of the week.......next time you want to critizise them fo this or that just have that picture in your mind.......yes constructive critisiscm is welcomed and they ask for it but dehumanizing these people is abhorrent and should be met with the strongest possible reaction......[DOUBLEPOST=1509987220][/DOUBLEPOST]

Well considering recent events that is a bit over the top but I can definitely see where Ross is coming from. On the other hand as a few of us have already said, the beta thread is full of moments of strong reactions and questions and short answers.....its not the BA Beta BOys Fan Hub....I wouldnt want to call out any one here but feck me blocker can moan! :p

Best example of this, so others know what we are talking about: we got the AI playing great in tests. Nice leaves, right mentality etc. Suddenly a build or two comes out when they are smashing it everywhere like Chris Gayle on amphetamines... took a while but we got down to it relating to a shot that was added to the batting repertoire!

My favourite thing about the game has been the difficulty in bowling: you really do get put away by the good players if you stray. The game encourages you to be brave: fuller balls swing more than good length ones, but over pitch and you're driven.

And absolutely best of all, the vast majority of wickets feel real and earned and they're varied. No more of the AI getting between 30 and 65 and randomly hitting to mid-off.

sssh... everyone here thinks i'm all sweetness and light.

i'd like to point out, it was just after someone else said they were gonna stop moaning about seam control, i said "well i'm not" and lo and behold it was in the next build :)

Can't wait to make some videos. I'm drooling at the thought of those animations plus some experimental ideas I have in my head to make the videos more dynamic...
