Have anyone of you found thrilling moments in this game just like watching real cricket ? Exclude the gameplay, graphics, bugs or whatever.

Adding a Poll !!

I had this match when I required around 30 off 4 overs with a partnership going on. I was comfortably winning and just lost concentration and lost 1 of the batsmen out in the deep. Just like in real cricket, the new batsman couldn't score easily and also couldn't find singles. Then I thought of finishing the match quickly with the set batsman and he played one on. Ultimately the match went down to the last ball with a run required and though I eventually won but it was not without a real scare. Just making me realise, this game emulates real life cricket perfectly. Maybe boring more often than not but every now and then for just 5 minutes it will give a thrill that even adventure sports may not give.

Quite unpredictable game, as a Cricket game should be. There are moments in matches which brings joys and frustration. Quite clearly the best Cricket game out there! I've had many matches which brought me joy. I was playing 50-over WC with Pakistan, and there was a match with West Indies. I batted first on a turning wicket, lost 5 for 120 in 26 overs. Then played sensibly and got to 220 for 8 in 45 overs. Then with my set batsman which was Sohaib Maqsood, I hit Sunil Narine (who was the best bowler so far) 21 runs in his 2nd last over, and 14 in his last. My score went to 272. Won the match by 26 runs. Best match I had.

More than thrilling moments, its the hair pulling and frustrating moments that give me most satisfaction. Because it makes the good moments so much more rewarding

For instance, it happens a lot when I get stuck in a horrible rut of single digit scores. And then, in one of the games my form just clicks back in. And you can actually feel it 'within' and not just on the screen. Or that innings where you get out for 20-30s but feel you are BACK, and go on to get a big score in the next game.

Same with bowling. Slugging it out over after over with no purchase. Suddenly get a wicket against the play of game. And suddenly, the Warne/Murali/Kumble inside you wakes up and wrecks havoc on the opposition batting. The mental aspect of cricket is somehow captured to perfection

Have had a couple of "thrilling" and close online games too.

I would have voted for online matches if there is an option in the poll. Every match I play is a different experience. Few matches I am scared till the last ball. Few matches I am scared till the required run reaches more than six per ball if I bat first. If I bat second I will be hurrying up to get the required run rate below six an over as soon as possible. Online matches are very interesting.
