i think he means the batters are prone to take less risky runs cause the fielding is sharper. ie the batter would have taken a suicidal run based on poorer fielding before (flawed as that perception was by the batting AI). now the batsmen might be quicker to realise that the fielders are that much better or are moving to the ball quicker - thus eliminating those silly run outs cause the programing tells the batter that hes definitely not going to make it?.

Since doing that, how many suicide-o-runouts do you get from the AI and do they still get themselves runout in the conventional way as well? In other words, do runouts still happen occasionally?

I've tried lowering all batting stats by around 15 all players. And increasing the fielding stats on all players. Unfortunately it seems to have made the problem of run outs even worse.

I got 7 in the 1st innings of a test match and 3 in the 2nd innings. Also got 5 run-outs in a 25 over match. They got themselves all out in 14 overs.

Maybe we should try the opposite! Make running speed max on all batsmen, and lower throwing accuracy?

Incidentely, despite the lower batting stats it's still really easy even on hard mode to score at 10 runs an over without losing wickets. Maybe I'll have a stab at lowering them even more...

Being a lazy bas**** (I don't know why I put stars in there it just says bassist) I was wondering whether there were already edited rosters that don't just have the names updated but the skills as well as has been mentioned here. I can trawl through the downloads thread but my aforementioned affliction thinks it is wiser to just darn well see if someone has already done that and found it. Anyone?????
