A player on my team popped to phenomenal. I really don't know whether to continue his training up to elite or to stop. I have 25m saved to support his salary, but it's not much right now compared to what it will be at the end of the season.

Hmmm, interesting, chances are he'd be scouted eventually for an international squad, if he plays you'll be subsidised. I'm guessing his wages are near or over 100k p/w, I seem to remember you having quite a few guys around that level? If that's the case, I'd train him up and hope he gets selected and you get some compensation.

Yep, only if they play, which is why I said 'hope' altho I wasn't clear nor specific enough about it.

You could always keep up the training up until the point where you're only just breaking even and sell a player then, just to make sure you've got enough in the tank. I imagine you'd raise at least 10 mil from a sale.

IMO train him till he is elite and then sell him. Use the money you get from him to buy some good players . Now its up to you to decide.
