Training Thread

Masi stopped his wk last season. I feel I need an injection of youth and with Masi being behind I'd rather start afresh. A yp in 3 seasons will be where Masi will be in 2 seasons.

may ppl will do wht u r doing...
its seems u gonna double or triple net ur new youth player on the other hand i like single netting.
so its ur choice.
i would still give this guy 1 bat /1 wkt for 2 more seasons. tht leaves u with 8 nets .

Currently 7 of my nets r allocated to players with age 21 or above. and during diffrent times next season i will stop thr training. But these players will thn play for me for atleast 5-6 more seasons.

I'm continuing Chav for another 2 seasons until he gets to exceptional. This was just a one off for Masi. All my other trainee will go double net till 20 and then single net to 22-23.

I'm going for 2 YP, taking up 4 nets, my 18yo taking 3, Sawyer 2 and Chav 1.

3. George Earle - 17 yo, BT Rating=25,455
RH Batsman, RM Bowler, strong batting form, strong bowling form, lively fitness.
A cautious player with superb leadership skills and worthless experience.
Stamina: strong Wicket Keeping: worthless
Batting: superb Concentration: strong
Bowling: respectable Consistency: abysmal
Fielding: feeble

Just concentration for Earle. He's starting to look pretty nice!

@aussie_ben91
dont tell me by
Finally finished him.
u mean tht u not gonna train him any further.
he is just 17yo and resp is no good.
give him 1 bat 1 wkt until he turns 23 and u will hav a start at ur hands.
That's 6 seasons away mate.

I only trained him so I'd have a decent wicketkeeper/batsman as this is my first season in BT. I put him on 1 bat / 1 wk / 1 stam from a med med med (med wk) player who I bought for 1k.

This time next season I would've trained 2 superb bowlers.

Zatiah Milner - 17 yo, BT Rating=18,591

A destructive player with strong leadership skills and worthless experience.
Stamina: proficient Wicket Keeping: woeful
Batting: superb+4 Concentration: respectable
Bowling: feeble Consistency: woeful
Fielding: feeble

Nearly my best player

he is a nice player and if u keep gng with 1 bat /1 wk / 1stam u will hav a nice player in the long run who can play for u every week too because of good fitness.

The only way to get a superb 17yo by this time next season u first will need a resp primary trainee in first week and thn 3 primary net plus 1 field and 1 stamina for full season and between tht time he cant play beacause of poor PFL.

and 3 primary net is a waste of nets in my opinion.
only use if u r training for u-19

Only was it's possible is to have 5 very high resp trainees at the start of the season, and give them 2 batting nets each - not sure if it's possible even then - may only reach high strong.

Can't believe any team has managed to pull this off though. At least 3 of the trainees would need to be bought, along with 2 amazing YP's - just not going to happen.

you dont do it yourself, and you ask others to make pak pulls and train heavy...

That is just what he did... He asked me an opinion before doing it... i know, you are calling me a stupid under your breath

Not convinced Hargreaves's wage is high enough to be superb on 2 nets at the end of the season.

I know he brought a few YP, can't remember how many.
But you could only really do 2 nets each of them so they all had to be very high resp with the 2 that popped being prof in the 2nd week.

Going by my maths if you want a superb guy by last week he'd have to be 7.65 sub level, if hes popping next week 7.55 with 2 nets.

read the last line of my post
do it only if u r training for u-19
and i am planning to train wkt/bat for pak u-19 next season
and i tried to train a spinner last seasons but as he was only comp whn i started so he didnt made it to the team

No. I already have 2 proficient bowlers who are 17yo right now. By the end of next season on 2 nets they will both be superb bowlers.
