Well the only recorded stamina drops that I know of have only started at 33, but by then the players value would begin to drop exponentially I reckon, you'd still get some dosh for him, but not nearly as much as you paid.

But even at 30, he'll play with Superb stamina for 2 or 3 seasons. After that, it'll be at least as long again (I'd have thought) before it gets below respectable, say. He'll be a better batsman for 6 seasons at least, although I concede the point about resale value. However, he will win you more games and effect your income that way for 6 seasons.

That argument is compelling. Although you could resell the former, you'd probably be forced to do so much earlier. The key is how long you plan to use him. I think that gets overlooked sometimes. You could train quite a number of better players in six seasons.

ok i was actually talking about this player....
i hav bought him for 4.8M

while a remerkable/strong with prof stamina 25yo was asking for 5.5M...
as i can train anyone of them...

i wouldn't keep either of them for more thn 3 seasons i think exceptional one was better so i bought him...
i will give him a couple of nets whnever i get a chance to get that concentration a bit up... only if i hav free net....

Good buy I'd say. I wouldn't bother with the nets as he isn't in your team long term
