Not at all a bad buy for your team, he'll serve you well for a while to come! Don't worry about the age, I've thought about buying a few 29 yo + players simply because they are cheaper and the only recorded skill drops are stamina and they only come at 33/34.

The fortunate thing for us guys who are happy to buy older ready to play, players, is that many don't buy after around 23 years old, because they are "too old"

They fail to see that a 28 year old Resp/Resp (Resp Stam) is no worse than a 22 year old with the same specs (they're actually more experienced too)

When it comes to older players, my only worry is resale value. If I buy a player at 26, looking to sell a few seasons later at 29 or 30, how much will his value be effcted by his age then? Still, this is only really important for expnesive players - which is why I am nervous about Cunningham!

I suppose it's also proportional to how much money he generates for you ie. how well he plays, getting you a better league position thereby filling your ground better etc. I mean if theres an older player that slots in perfectly and does well I reckon whatever you lose on resale is worth what success he brought you, of course if he is a flop - AKA Cunningham :p - then it can be counted as a huge loss. Just my view on it.

Yeah, I reckon you're spot on. Difficult to judge though.
