My thoughts on wickies are that, since my team bats all the way to 10th (with mediocres), causing my ratings to look like woeful,woeful,woeful I don't need a wk-batsman.

Anyway, back on topic I'm accidently selling Islam, who used to play for the Falcons, at 7,500 atm, hes quite cheap.

One of my newbie buys

Surprisingly, he went for 10,500! To a 4 month old IV team, nonetheless!!

Looking back on his transfer, it was indeed Hassan or someone, my bad Pak_cricketer. Anyway, I made a 9,500 profit (I can't use the pound sign here!), which is maybe a fair price for the 2,000 BTR increase I gave him.

On the other hand, Carl Milner went for 2,000 which I think was a fair price in the end, seeing as he has never won me games. It was to an outright newbie (started 5 days ago!).

Speaking of transfers, I had to tell a newbie friend off for listing a couple of two-digit BTRs on the market for 1500 and 2000! I told him he was clogging up the transfer market and asked him why he thought anyone would buy them, and he said they were cheap!!! I told him anyone could pull better from the YA, easily without any investment if they wanted cheap.

Hmm, you could have got a similar player for about 5k. For 50k, you need atleast a competant primary or better secondaries.

I reckon 50k is just a little too much for the player.Atleast his stamina needed to be a bit higher imo,but you experienced guys should know more.

I had a look about, nothing was around that was already at that level, besides as soon as his bowling pops he can replace one of my current bowlers with ease.

Oh, he was up for 100k before that, so I waited for his price to drop to a respectable level
