At the momment I have placed a bid of 50K for Rheams.Though he has to spend sometimes in the nets for batting improvement.

Thanks He is a pretty good keeper. I think improving his batting will be futile, it will take to long to improve, and he'll never be good enough. If you need a batsman, you can try for one of the others. Hodge is fairly good for a new side. Bunn and Cox aren't bad either, Cox was brilliant for me as an opener.

I've put a bid on Hodge His concentration ain't all that great though so don't expect me to over bid. I'll probably stop buying players for awhile though, I'll probably be in debt if I don't win some games.

Don't go for buying high quality players so early in your career.Play with your current squad for 7 to 8 matches and then when you have enough money in the bank buy the mediocre ones(like I bought Darby who proved to be quite a decent keeper).And then bid for the high quality ones.This is your first season.So don't worry too much.

Yea I'm not going for high quality ones just mediocre/component guys. Usually only spending 1-2 grand though.

I did that too when I started. But never really stopped doing it and move on to the next stage till last season
