FTP: Transfers

I was just checking top transfers of this season and saw Chewie's transfer on number 3. cricket.. 2.3 cricketing million... cricketing cricket:p

And I'm all the way down in 16th place with a measerley 1.47 mil.

Got 2 guys from PC on that list :p So lucky I've only had one good pull and he wasn't anywhere near what they got.

Got this guy for 30k

Was looking for an accomplished 20yo batsmen but I'm hoping this guy will get to that point sometime this season.

Hey guys I new at this games, was told by AngryPixel to come and check out things here. So I am pleased to meet you guys and hope we can enjoy some cricket sometime.

Check out the other threads mate...

Made a huge transfer, probably slightly overpaid but will be on the fringe of the Australian U19 NAT side so I don't mind. Not like I was looking to buy anyone else anyway. $630,000 for him even though I had only planned on paying 500K so that makes him my second biggest buy behind Victor Omara for 750K. Although this buy bought me some abuse as well, one of the guys I was bidding against told me to f**k my mother after I got him.

According to the previous manager, he is halfway or there about to reliable bowling and only had 2 weeks of bowling training since his technique pop. And he's about halfway there in endurance as well. Just gonig to train him on bowling for the rest of this season to get him a pop right at the end of the season then switch to bowling technique and his gifted technique should get him up to Reliable within 4 weeks and then I can decide what to do.

Errr should probably do some fielding, which will help his technique being behind

Why, he's 17, his gifted technique only puts him slightly behind in technique when he's on bowling training.

Looking at my youth squad, I'm trying to pick the best lineup available but can't decide what the best XI available is to me. I have 6 batsman with above capable batting along with Omara who is a must in my XI to get experience and my keeper and all-rounder so literally, I have 7 spots for 9 possible candidates. I'm thinking of playing the one all-rounder which means that I can play the other in senior games but then my ordinary batting keeper will be batting at 7 and have no batting behind him.

I might be willing to pay a bit of money for a good youth player if you wanted :p

Does anyone know how much O'Leary would be worth. I might sell him should I get a heap of money for him.

Hedger were you talking to me about buying a young player?? And how on earth have you spent 750k on a player?? My highest transfer is only 291k!!

O'leary should go for a good bit nearing 400k? or more?

Yeah ;)

Remember I sold most of my senior squad and I had a fair bit of money already. I only have like $500,000 but I'm willing to spend about 100K on a good youth player. As long as they're good enough for my youth squad and not too expensive, then I might buy them.

Well that player aint a youth player who I just put on the list.

As for that 20yo I mentioned hes a rfs expert/expert. Poor experience but he'll get a season or two or three before I'll be bringing in my young allrounders into the starting line-up. So might just push up his sale value with that lil extra experience.

You could always buy that 18yo reli/reli batter off me robert joyce but hes ear marked as one for the future so would need more than 100k :p
