Fielding is lower than I would prefer but for a new team and seeing as he has safe hands then it'll be fine.

I'd go for bowling technique personally though.

Actually, gifted bowling could mean you could chuck him on bowling/bowling tech for a while and maybe get a pop out of him.

Stats have no effect whatsoever. They just indicate he was playing in a low division. 79k is too much for him, but over time he'll probably turn into a decent batsman. You'll want to get the fielding up a bit though
