TV Graphics Editing - Including Sky, C4, nine, ESPN STAR, and Ten Sports

Beautiful research and development work, Ste. You're making a good game even better.

Great work Ste.

I found three small errors:
1. The Name and Highest Scores may leak out.(e.g in first pic Youhana's name is leaking and so is his highest score.)
2.Overlap (gunawardane's score is not visible due to font size or something)
3.Another overlap (Pak need 226 not 22 runs to win, 6 is overlapped here)

Also can there be a possibility of editing scorecards as well

I will try and fix these problems now, are you using the latest beta version I posted yesterday?

There is a possibility of editing scorecards but its not stored in the same bit of the cricket_pc.gob file as the other TV graphics I have edited so I will have to find this part in the gob file.

hey ste...about the star sports 1....i was wrong about the score on the top left.....the way u've done it is correct...but the font colour is white on the blue and not balck.....the macth replay is coming right now...so if i find anything else i'll post it here!!

u can make the rectangular scoreboard thing longer(left to right).....and u've got the score on the second line below india...it shud be on the same line....overs on the blue line...........but on blue blackground text is white everywhere.....try to make the text less bold and a bit smaller if possible!!

The Sky Sports Patch beta version is on Page 11, the final version with a few small changes should be on the site later today.

Also the channel 4 patch beta version should be on this topic later today.

Ste, I'm getting the same overlapping errors as Ajit since using the last set of files you posted (yesterday); I don't remember seeing them with the 2nd set of files you posted.

yes sorry about that. It was cause by me trying to move some things close together but while one bit of information (current run rate), another (runs needed) gets moved to close together. Ive fixed this and it will be fine for the proper release version today.

Heres the first beta version of the Channel 4 patch. Not all the graphics are done and there may be some errors as I have done the score bits from memory and information from people on here.

To install you need to use the Graphics Importer V2.2 and Winzip. First open the c4b2.zip file in Winzip and extract all the .tga files to your Cricket 2004\Data\Bats folder overwriting any exisiting files. Next open the Graphics Importer, select Import As Zip, and select the c4b2.zip file before pressing OK twice to install the patch, close the Graphics Importer and you can then run the game!

You dont need the Sky Sports patch installed to use this patch but the patch will still work if you do.

Please post your comments and if possible screenshots here!

Ste

The what? croce? Anyway it seems that there are only 2 fonts, a small font, a slightly bigger font (the two I have used) and a 3 times as big font, but I will see if i can find anymore.
