ok cool, its all done! i got it installed with out any probs, it only took me 30 secs to save the sky.txt file! anyways im about to test it, and will let u know/post a screenshot if theres any problems!

Thats good, I wasnt sure if the instructions where clear enough! I took long enough to type them though, I started when England where winning 2-0 v Austria and when I had finished it was 2-2!

well...tried the beta version and must say that there is no technical problem in the patc.

its great.

sorry i can't post pics for fraps and other softwares are not working on my comp. for taking cricet 2004's pics.

1. there is a problem that the scorecard is dark blue from the left corner to the middle but after that there is a ligher shade of blue to mixes into the darker one. then are is another line starting the light shade which also mixes into darker one. this looks a bit bad.

2. i think the sky sports logo should be big in size an should be moved to RIGHT and a little bit upwards.

3. the radar should also be moved just a little bit upward.

4. the score bars which show the bowling/batting stats- although thay are good looking but i think the border of the menus should be thickened so as to give it a 3d button style look. when a batsman gets out, sometimes the player who has a long name, this name merges with the name of the bowler and the fielder who dismissed him.

well these are for now. i'm sorry that im not able to post pics. coz of obvious reasons.

Its absolutely amazing it adds so much realism to the game possibly one of the best patches so far, it makes the game so much more enjoyable thanks every so much maybe soon we will have the channel four tv graphics thanks ever so much. Well appreciated.

I have done this to try and achieve the effect you see on the real Sky Sports infobar which you can see here.

I will investigate doing both of these things, the problem with making the Sky Sports logo bigger as it looks more unrealistic and even brighter white.

Put the files in this new .zip file which I have attached in your bats folder overwriting the old ones and the red and blue bits are now more 3D button like.

I will try and do something about the long name problem, im not sure what though, as there is only so much space to work with but I might be able to spread them out abit more.

It works 100% and is really cool but if the info bar at the bottom shows that for example that *Gibbs(49) is batting and Smith (0) is the non striker then the 2 scores is swapped around on the info bar and reads as follows *Gibbs (0) Smith (49).
Can you fix this?

There was a problem with the sky09.zip file attached on the first post I attached it to (this post ) it is now attached properly! sorry about that! Download it here - http://www.planetcricket.org/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=3378 if you havent, remember to extact all the files to the Cricket 2004\Data\Bats folder.

Try this - http://www.planetcricket.org/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=3379 it should fix it! You will have to copy and paste it into the config editor again after deleting the old stuff in the XML_PCSC_TV bit.

Remember that 51192/51192 should be shown and to save it before closing the config editor

well ironically i havent been able to test this patch out yet. why i hear you scream? well i installed some dna drivers earlier in the day for my ati radeon 9200, and it has messed up the whole pc. well the moral of the story is i have just done a complete format, so i should get round to trying it tommorow or maybe late tonight

just 1 thing...if u could move the sky sports live logo more to the right and a ittle bit higher it wud look much better....and secondly is it possible to add the same overlays to the pause menu and the scoreboards wagon wheels etc??? those wud look really cool as well!!

I think this would be possible. But all this is stored somewhere else in the gob, I will try and find it though, I think it will be stored in the same way as XML.
