That solves the McCullum problem then :) NSW will also have Haddin back, normally you would go for McCullum as keeper but I think they might go with Haddin.

The Sri Lankan team look's very stong, right up there with the State teams I feel.

Yea some how that side manage to have most of the current SL internationals.
The Cobras are very batting strong, if they have the bowlers to do the job then they could threaten.

I'm happy with the players NSW have, we got a crazy amount of openers. No idea what we would do if we had Warner. And next season we will have Watson!

Hughes
Jaques
McCullum (Katich)
Haddin
Katich (Steven Smith)
Clarke
Henriques
Hauritz/Bollinger
Lee
Clark
Bracken

Reserves: Cameron, Cockley, Bird, Casson, Cowan, Forrest, Thornely

Aaron Bird, has he been cleared to bowl again. Last I heard he was reported for his suspect action.

NSW have a very good batting line-up, but the bowling could be a massive let down. Bracken's been poor of late, Clark isn't much of a limited overs bowler. And Brett Lee was pretty poor in the T20 world cup.

Yea Bird has been cleared to bowl, just don't know if hes available for this tournament. Clark's T20I record is actually pretty good. NSW bowling attack is basically Australia's attack and I've always felt our ODI/T20 attack lacked the fire power and containing role that other sides seem to have. It can be good but it can also have its bad days.

I was just reading that if Northants win the England T20 tournament they won't be able to participate in the Champions League because of the three ICL players they have. So wouldn't it make sense to give it to the team that's the comes third, why bring a fourth IPL team into the tournament?

David Warner is going to be wasted if he plays for Delhi.

Yea, I wish they would release him.

Can't they just leave out those players? And I can't know why they can't given Razzaq will be available for the Champions trophy. But if they are pulled out then I would rather the 3rd place English side than another IPL team. 3 is enough, if they get a 4th we may as well call this the IPL v3.

How do you determine the 3rd placed team though from 2 semi final losers? Pot Luck or do you have another fixture?

Sialkot Stallions would have won the tournament as they have got quite a few star players but the indians were too afraid of them so didn't allow them...:p
