Will the IPL teams have their internationals? I feel that since this is a showcase of the best domestic teams, everyone should play for their home side. If Warner wins a match for Delhi against NSW then who is the better team really?

I hope everyone plays for their home domestic team.

IPL teams have first choice over players.
If IPL team does not make to champions league its players can represent their home domestic teams.
If player and franchise agree, the player can represent their home domestic team even though IPL team have made it to champions league.

All depends who fits strategy of IPL teams.

All depends on Sehwag's injury. If he is fir I dont think Delhi needs Warner. In IPL too he was played only when Viru was out.

Delhi Daredevils v Victoria should be a cracker.

Otago include McCullum in Champions League squad | New Zealand Cricket News | Cricinfo.com

Its a pretty decent team:

It would probably look something like this:

1.Brendon McCullum
2.Aaron Redmond
3.Hamish Rutherford
4.Craig Cumming
5.Neil Broom
6.Dimitri Mascarenhas
7.Nathan McCullum
8.Warren McSkimming
9.James McMillian
10.Nick Beard
11.Neil Wagner

They should go all right, can't see them beating the Aussie teams though.

So has a decision been officially been made on who Brendon McCullum will play for? Otago or New South Wales. I dare say Cricket New Zealand will have a word in his hear about playing for Otago

It should be. IPL has two third class teams.

Cricinfo is reporting that Gibbs is going to play for the Chargers, his domestic team gets 200,000 though.

What I want to know is why the IPL teams are playing in this, India must have a domestic 20/20 tournament. It would make the tournament a heck of a lot fairer.

*face palm* The domestic 20/20 tournament is called the "IPL" Indian Premier League............

The problem is that only IPL teams are franchised whereas other teams are traditional represent your state/county point of view. If all teams where franchised into a free market it would spice things up alot.

So the actual Indian domestic teams don't play in a T20 tournament, I find that odd.
