South Africa v West Indies

With the end of the 1st 5 overs, West Indies were in some sort of trouble as they lost both their openers for 35 runs; now the pressure is building on West Indies thanks to some good bowling by the South Africans. But West Indian captain Ramnaresh Sarwan had a vital role to play today having to get his team in a good position in the next 5 overs. Pollock still had one over left in his spell and bowled well so far giving away just 20 runs in his 3 overs. Sarwan then decided to switch to attacking mode and stared smashing Pollock to all parts of the ground picking up 14 runs off Pollock's last over. Pollock finished his spell with the bowling figures of 4 overs, 1 wicket for 34 runs. West Indies were 49/2 after 6 overs and thats what Twenty20 cricket is all about. Just one over can change the game completely and now another good over will put the West Indies in a good position with the wicket being hard and flat.

South Africa made their 1st bowling change of the match. Andre Nel was introduced into the bowling attack. He started nicely by bowling a good length on this wicket and not allowing the batsman to go for their shots. Smith did a good job as captain by placing a good tight field and Nel was bowling accordingly. Nel varied his pace nicely and bowled a slow ball which was fuller in length, Samuels went for the big hit in the midwicket region but only managed to hit the ball high in the air where Hall took a well judged catch in the end. The West Indies have lost their 3rd wicket and that too an important one of Marlon Samuels who was looking well settled.

With the fall of the 3rd wicket Chanderpaul walked to the crease and now with Sarwan at the crease also, this batting pair is the most experienced from all the West Indian players. Chanderpaul is vastly experienced and he has to handle the pressure well along with his captain.

The match is evenly balanced at the moment and just one bad over for either team will cost the match for them. Still West Indies required 95 runs to win in 60 balls with 7 wickets in hand. But it certainly is do-able with the fire power and experience still left for the West Indies.

Oops Gamer, so keen on getting the update across u posted it twice :p
Could a mod please delete the second part as Gamer has gone off his computer.

As for the chase, it's planning out pretty well for the West Indies. 95 off 60 is very do-able and with some good batsman still left nevermind the two out there I would put Windies favourites at the moment. Will be right down to the wire...

Good update lads. I can't believe how realistic Gamer makes this game :laugh

Finally updates has arrived :DThe is match is now evely balanced, anyside now can start to dominate. Proteas need 2 more wickets and Windies need to go on like this :) Cmon Windies, you can do it :happy great story and presention guys .

Games very evenly balanced.Strange to see Pollock get smashed like that.

Windies seem to maintain their consistent RR of 7 per Over. The game is balanced and it can go either way.. Lets see what happens. :)
