It would've been good to have been drawn in one of the formats with one of the three absolute minnows (Brazil, Denmark, or Rwanda), but we'll have to make do with causing some upsets. Obviously we'll take confidence from our first ever win over a full member after beating Bangladesh in real life in July, and we should have a more than 50 - 50 chance of beating the Netherlands considering we're ahead of them in real life in both the FC and OD competitions for the non-test countries.
Btw Bryce McGain isn't actually Danish, I'm not sure why (possibly as an overseas player) but he played one non-intentional game for them back in 2002 in one of the English domestic competitions. If they're allowed him, I should be allowed the likes of George Worker and Jean Symes who have played for Scotland over the last two years as overseas players in the CB40. Also George Bailey was Scotland's overseas player in 2007 and 2010, and between him they had Ed Cowan and Cameron Borgas.
Philander (18) and Tahir (15) are both invalid because according to the rules they have to have played less then 15 international matches (Tests and ODIs). Since T20Is don't count they're just full of T20 specialists.
You may think it stupid but I feel Bangladesh has got a great chance of winning this one; OD at least. They are a talented side and above all, they have the luxury to play their full strength squad.
