I was also completing a county update but I guess you beat me to it Have you tried editing the national league yet and reducing the no. of games to a pool of 36 games in total for division 1 instead of the old 72? I've reduced the no. of games to 36 but I'm not quite sure whether it will crash after it all the 36 games are done.

Although I haven't edited national league yet but I'll definitely see whether it works or not.
