There's a difference between lager/cider and real ale (our "warm beer"). Though quite what a 15-year old Aussie knows about beer, who knows.

Very little, I've not drank so much as a 1% alcoholic cider. I'm just generally curious about the 'warm beer in England' stories. My dad lived in England for about 12 years but I don't understand any of his stories :/

Warm beer is referring to real ale (that exists in Australia too), that shouldn't be served at anything much under 10C, typically around 8C, as opposed to a few degrees like Cider, Lager, etc.

my recent trip with friends...

That's Celsius of course? And you get it from taps in bars?

Yes on both counts, it comes out of the pumps but the lines are very different and the beer needs time to settle (it will generally have sediment in it, unlike Lager, Cider, Pilsner, etc) unlike lager, etc, which you can pretty much throw about.

^ Did you drag the ball to the stumps? :p
Nonetheless, a good attempt. ;)

@barmyarmy : LOL, good attempt though :p

I tried to reverse sweep a ball on middle and completely missed it.
In my defence the previous 3 had been outside off...
