Precinct One Time Trial (7.75 km)
- A short time trial around Putrajaya Lake and some of the most distinctive landmarks of Presint 1.

Pursuit Stage (64.35 km)
- A short road stage slightly further afield around Putrajaya
- Finishes with five laps around a 1.8 km circuit across Putra Bridge - could finish as a bunch sprint, but just about short enough that a small collection of strong riders might be able to stay away; and the very strongest such riders will already be at or near the front thanks to the time trial earlier in the day.

Cricket Through The Ages began with a simple idea: what if the Champions League had been around for longer, much longer, since before Twenty20 and even one-day cricket had become popular.

:arwk:

The Olympic Games were first held in 1896, and are the world's premier multi-sport event. It is arguably the best opportunity to introduce cricket to the world, and that is exactly what VC the Slogger plans to do; especially with a forward-thinking limited overs format designed for tournament play.

:arwk:

The original World Championship of Cricket involved just two teams, Surrey and Victoria, who tussled for the title over the course of a single match. Since then, it has grown considerably and now commands a regular place in the annual cricketing calendar. It has also expanded beyond English shores, having been hosted by both the United States and Australia. It has hitherto been dominated by Australian domestic giants New South Wales.

:arwk:

The World Test Championship was originally proposed in 1909 as a Triangular Tournament before the decision was made to make welcome all the cricketing outposts of the Empire. As a result, eight teams will visit English shores for the inaugural 1912 tournament. It shall be a true festival of cricket, to be repeated only once every decade.

:x: :x: :x:

Please do not reproduce any of the ideas in this thread, or the corresponding plans for the World Cup or World Twenty20.
