With collingwood looking uncomfortable the Queensland bolwers bowled tight and good balls further worsening his problem. The trouble started after he played and missed followed by a few short picthed delivery. This had Collingwood on the back foot who wasn't expecting the straight yorker from Kasporiwcz. COLLINGWOOD FALLS INTO THE TRAP:
- Struck in front although it seems Collingwood hasn't seen it.
- Aleem Dar seals the decision giving him out LBW.
So England now have a difficult 25 overs to naviagte with all wickets left precious, surely its now or never for Prior and his England hopes. Runs here would definetly put him up there with the Flintoffs and Pietersens.

Queensland v England PRIOR AND GILES GIVE ENGLAND HOPE UPDATE AFTER END OF INNINGS
England 169 (46.2overs)
It seems unlikely England will win this match after they were bowled out for a meer 169 on this good batting wicket. Things could have been alot worse when England found them selves 6 down for 70 odd but M.Prior and A.Giles put 50 and brought the score up. Priors 38 was made up of only 1 boundary with the other runs coming with quick singles and the odd 2. On the other hand Giles balsted a huge six follwoed by 2fours in succession. This gave England some tempo but the fall of A.Giles end any hopes of reaching 200.
A.Giles look ing good form but started extremely slowm in scoring any runs. Therefore it was obvious that when the spinners came on we would see some hard hitting. However the first over of spin Giles faced it seemed that we could all be worng when he played and missed GILES TRIES TO FIND SOME FORM:
- The ball just passes the inside edge into the wicket keepers gloves.
- Giles frees his shoulders smashing a six through mid wicket.
- Hauritz can only watch on as the ball sails into the crowd.
With the unwelcome departure of Giles all the work laid on Prior shoulders, who yet seemed to have found form. With Hauritz still bowled there was a period of play where everyone though Prior would go howeverhe battle through despite the scares. PRIOR UNSETTLED:
- Loud shout from Hauritz who thinks he gots his man.
- The umpire disagrees although Hawkeye shows it was close.
Meanwhils at the toher end was Tremlett who is not renowned for his batting experties. This showed when he tried to put Noffke into the stands only to find Symonds at Mid Wicket. ANOTHER WICKET FALLS:
- Tremlett goes for it...
- Symonds takes an easy catch to dismiss Tremlett for 12.
- Noffke celebrates another wicket and now there into the tail.
- The experiment from Tremlett fails so he has to depart.

Queensland v England MAHER & HAYDEN TAKE THE GAME AWAY FROM ENGLAND UPDATE AFTER 10 OVERS
Queensland 121-1 (15 0vers)
Brilliant batting from the openrs has almost certainly ended Englands hopes of winning this first warm up game. Maher got the ball rolling smashing some magnificant boudaries which he made look easy. At the other end Hayden seemed a bit subdues but he soon came to the party smashing a huge towering six of Tremlett. The only posistive for England is that Tremlett got the only wicketof Maher caught by Harmison at cover point.
-England players make their way out.
- Maher and Haydend are at the crease hoping for a good start.
- The young James Anderson is gifted the new ball.
Maher got the game started hitting a square cut for four followed by a perfect back foot drive. Imedietly it was clear that Maher meant business. Meanwhile the calm Haydne prodded the ball for a couple of singles before dispatching Anderson for 4 with a brilliantly time pull shot. Followeing this Haydn completed his Trademark cover drive for 4. OPENING PAIR DEMOLISH:
It was now clear that this macth had all but gone and it was clearlt visible throughout the demorillised England squad. The opening Stand had reached 70 before the fiedling restrictions were over and now England had nothing to lose. M.VAUGHAN BATTLES WITH QUEENSLAND:
- M.vaughan looks on as another 4 is scored.
- The 2 destroyers discuss as they reached the 70 partnership.
- Harmison takes an easy catch lifting the England squad.
- Harmison is congratualted after taking the catch of the new bowler Tremlett.

Queensland v England HAYDEN AND LOVE DESTROY ENGLAND UPDATE AFTER END OF INNINGS
Queensland 170-2 (21.2 0vers)
England left the field demorillised after Queensland destroyed them in the first warm up match at Brisbane. The two bastmen score 49 runs in just over 6 overs demonstrating the destructive force of a 'in' batsmen. There were little threats from England and only one wicket empahsising the defeat.
M.love continued his destructive assult despite the field restrcition smashing boundaries all over the field and soon him and Haydne had together put on 50. M.LOVE IN FORM:
- M.Love cover drives of Giles.
Love smashes Giles for 4 down the ground.
Simularly Hayden continued to bully the demorralised bowlers htting ahuge 6 out of the ground. From here on the victoyr was sealed. HAYDEN AND LOVE BULLY:
- Hayden hooks for 4 more.
- The ball sails over the stand
- Together they put on 50 further ruiing England hopes.
- Love reaches his 50 mafter just 30 balls the game almost over.
