Well if you're on the mafia team and your roles all say Antagonist, the logical assumption would be that the town were the Protagonists. So I don't think we need to assume the mafia somehow know something about the roles, it just means that someone else gave Bevab the fake claim.

I'm not convinced on Zohaib yet, a lot of people seem a little too certain he is scum...

This. I don't think the mafia have someone who's clued up on everyone, but they do obviously have someone experienced with fake claims.

True, but the way some people are a little too certain, it makes me think that there must be a reason behind their conviction, apart from Zohaib's behavior.

I actually don't know what to make of his role-claim. I've never heard of his character, but a quick wiki search states he's from the Splinter Cell series. I'll be honest - I've never heard of these games before. But to be honest, it's not a difficult to claim to make up , and I'm doubtful his character would be in the game. Plus, someone in the mafia obviously knows his stuff, given how believable Bevab's claim originally was.

Then again, this is crazy mafia. I didn't know about Tom's character either, and he was in the game

I'll keep my lynch for now, purely on the basis that no one else has been picked up on my radar.

I think that going by the character that is claimed is going to be a pretty hard way of inferring scumminess because there are so many potential claims that are all very valid. Just because some people haven't heard of a particular character and may think it suspicious, doesn't mean that heaps of other people know them.

With regards to the protagonist thing, I agree with Spoobir's post above

My first night I investigated Barmy, he is anti-hero, completely opposite to what he said he is

Goes without saying, but a major FOS: Aditya. What was your sole reason for gunning for Zohaib so aggressively? You mentioned somewhere of lynching someone you were 100% sure of. Apart from Zohaib's scum vibes, the reason I was convinced of Zohaib's allegiance was because of you.

Sorry guys, was out all yesterday and only just got back now. Well not much to add now, I actually can't really tell. All the suspicion has been on Zohaib up until now but after that claim which I don't think was the correct thing to do, it looks like Barmy is in trouble.

I have provided the reasons for my lynch and frankly I think they are good enough to lynch someone. Firstly, the aggressiveness that was shown by Zohaib against Bevab. I wasn't aware that he's the cop, was I? Just like others, the way he went for Bevab was the most suspicious. The second most major thing for my lynch was his defense which has been horrible in this game and I'm sure you will agree to it. We were asking some questions and his defense was totally not acceptable. These are the two major causes of my lynch. I was the first one to go for Zohaib, I accept this but I wasn't the first one who lynched him, it was Colin. I lynched him soon after I was not happy with his defense and not without giving him any chance to post his defense. Being aggressive towards Bevab was fine, he claimed as his role after all. But posting a proper defense is always required and if you don't do that then there is something wrong obviously but his claim looks good now.
