Video Game Mafia - Game Over: Maney and Spoobir Victorious

I'd say we must not hammer him. I don't know what will happen if Colin is mafia and someone rereads this post but we must give him a chance to defend himself.

Your starting to look very shifty yourself there Aditya, first you've been very aggressive towards Zohaib and then, despite lynching Barmy, are casting further suspicions over whether we should or not.

Despite him playing quite poorly defence wise and putting himself into the position where he'd had to role/character claim earlier I don't think he's lying here.

Zohaib better be telling the truth or else this will look very dodgy. :(

I find no point in having 7 lynches on him. If someone stupidly lynches, then it's all over.

@Themer - I don't see how can we completely trust Zohaib. What if Colin is cop and Zohaib is lying and trying to chance his luck and get Colin quickly lynched. This does sound stupid but anything can happen in this game my friend. If you look back at the games I have played, I always believe to give the person who is on the verge of getting lynch, one chance to defend himself and I'm doing the same here.

I am anti-hero - I'm aware that I screwed up in not knowing that protaganist was town.
I have a very special role though and the town will find it hard to win without me. My character is a shape shifter meaning I can take on powers making it impossible for the mafia to kill me - I can only be lynched. I think you'll agree that that is very useful in an anti-mafia role. I don't have any recruiting power and I've not been told that I'm cult. My only role is to absorb powers.
Keeping me alive will help the town later on - I'm individual aligned but I'm a much bigger threat to the mafia than to the town.

How am I a threat to the town? I can't kill and I can't recruit.

To put it another way if you leave me alive for now you get my penetrating analysis and scum-hunting skills as well as my mafia-kill immunity.
Kill me you lose both.
The best decision for the town is to use me to help you and then, if you feel I've not helped you, kill me later.
My role is a very powerful pro-town one so lynching me will tip the balance towards the mafia.

My word, didn't think Colin was particularly town after the way he started but that protagonist was a little bit of a slip-up. But he also, doesn't seem to be much of a problem to the townies or maybe he is hiding something?

If your only role to absorp powers, surely that means you can then use them and the longer you are alive the more powers you capture and the more dangerous you become?

I know that this sort of thing has happened before where we have kept an 'individual' alive and then that person has almost gone on to win, so it's a dangerous ploy that needs discussing.

We know, he isn't town, but he also doesn't seem to be mafia .

Colin, what's your win condition?

Forgive me for being cynical, but why should we believe this? You have the same allegiance as Tom, meaning you're not individual. We also know from the first write-up that the cult tried to recruit someone. What evidence do we have that it was you who recruited Tom and not the other-way round? Apart from your word, that is.

You've been found-out, and are trying to sell yourself to the town so we keep you around. It's something I tried in the Pokemon mafia - giving false promise just so I don't get lynched off. Ollie should remember this - he was a thorn back then, and rightfully didn't believe me :p

And to ask Ollie's question again - what is your win-condition Colin?

I can only aborb one lot of powers at a time so I can become the cop etc. Whenever I absorb a town role I become vulnerable to the mafia though. In other words I can take on the cop role if the cop dies and someone is willing to protect me for a night.
My win condition is that I survive to the end. Obviously seeing as only the town can kill me and not the mafia I will be trying to ensure a town victory.

I was surprised to see that Tom was anti-hero as I had assumed from my PM that I was the only one. I wasn't recruited by Tom on night 0; my alignment was anti-hero from the start. It's possible that he had recruiting powers but nowhere in my PMs from MaD has cult been mentioned.

What's the advantage to the town of lynching me? I'm not mafia. We don't even know that there is a cult in this game; that's just our interpretation of the write-up. The fact you know my status means that it can only help the town and hinder the mafia to keep me alive.

A lot has seemed to have occured.

Unlynch: Zohaib.

Colin's claim is still not convincing me, and given the player he is, it can be easy for him to mislead us. I'm not lynching him right now though...

Weird of Chewie to lynch Themer without any reasons, what made you do that?

How can I mislead you on this? You know from what Zohaib said that I'm not mafia. The way the town wins this game is by destroying the mafia players of whom I'm not one.
If alive I can use my powers to help the town win. Don't you think the mafia are scared stiff of the fact that I'm gunning for them and they can't kill me? If I were town I'm be looking closely at those people who still want to kill me after knowing me role.
