Jonathan Agnew: Waters to start the 41st over, Saleh drives into the covers, oh they are running! This could be out, Waters whips off the bails and yes, it's out, the end of the big stand. Rajin Saleh run out for 61, 171-3
Geoff Boycott: Well they have been looking to up the rate, there with a quick single, and well he'd have to be Linford Christie to get in there, out by a mile, but a good knock by this lad.
Jonathan Agnew: First ball of the 46th over, and Saleh smashes it, into the gap, and one bounce four, a great shot.
Geoff Boycott: A lovely shot, a big booming on drive, but controlled, he has looked good today and deserves a century
Jonathan Agnew: Steffan Jones, starting the penultimate over, and another big shot from Sarkar! It's in the crowd! Six! A glorious shot! He moves onto to 98
Geoff Boycott:My word! Now he is just one hit away from a well desrved century. That is a great shot, power, but controlled, that's proper batting that is!
Jonathan Agnew: He inches towards his century... and here it is, he drives down the ground, and he punches the air, then raises his bat in aknowledgement and well deserved too.
Geoff Boycott: Well played son, he has done brilliantly, held his nerve at the start, and then played his shots too, great techinque, and great perfromance, now he needs to stay in and be there at the end
Jonathan Agnew: Jones runs in and Sarkar goes big again, this could be out tthis time, though, Robert Croft is underneath it and out. The end of a great innings, caught on the boundary, 237-4
Geoff Boycott: Superb knock, goes big again, but gets caught on the boundary, but still an important knock for Bangladesh
Jonathan Agnew: Jones to bowl the last delivery of the penultimate over, and oh this will be a simple catch at mid on, caught by Powell, and Manjural Islam has gone first ball. 237-5
Geoff Boycott: He was drving and he rocked back onto the back fot, and it bounced more than he expected, it came onto him quicker too, and so it lobbed up easily to Michael Powell at mid on. Double blow for Bangladesh.
Jonathan Agnew: Second ball of the last over, Harrison, and woah! That's big. Six! Mashud drives and lauhches it over O'Shea 's head
Geoff Boycott: Cracking shot, a proper cricket shot, not a slog, and real power, great cricket.
Jonathan Agnew: Harrison runs into bowl and short, wide and punched away, no stopping it, cut away for four, ten runs in two balls
Geoff Boycott: That is really going to hurt Wales, short bowling like that has no place and deserves to be hit to the fence. Bad at any time, but at this stage even more so.
Jonathan Agnew: Harrison again, Mashud goes big again, will it be out? A man is under it! And out! A safe pair of hands from O'Shea, and Mashud's little cameo is at an end 248-6
Geoff Boycott: Wickets tumbling with this big hitting, two balls left, you don't really want a new batsman coming in at this stage
Jonathan Agnew: Harrison then to the new bastman Mahmud, oh and this shud be out, yes! Hughes the catcher at mid on, an on drive woefully mistimed, and the simplist of catches first ball 248-7
Geoff Boycott: Well, that was a really poorly timed shot, driven, but awfully late, mis-hit, and no confidence or conviction in the shot, Wales picking up good wickets here, even if it is Bangladesh contributing to their own downfall
Jonathan Agnew: So final ball of the innings, hattrick ball as well, and...Mortaza fails to score, and that is the end of the innings, 248-7 off 50 overs.
Geoff Boycott: Wales won't be too unhappy with that, fielded well, bowled...okish nothing special, but a lot of the wickets their own downfall really, Sarkar played a fantastic knock, is 249 a good enough target...hmmm. perhaps, depends how Wales bat and Bangladesh bowl, it's a dry pitch, so perhaps they wanted more, but there is the dewy atmosphere, so it's going to be interesting.
Jonathan Agnew: Mortaza to bowl to Croft, and oh a lovely drive down the ground, on driving, and four, and the runs keep coming for Croft and Wales
Geoff Boycott: This assault by Croft is beginning to hurt Bangladesh, he's a wise old head Robert Croft, and these runs a coming up in no time at all.
Jonathan Agnew: Mortaza to bowl to Croft again, short and pulled, in the air, oh and this could be six, it is! Resonably safe with no one out on the square leg boundary, a big over already, and worst still for Bangladesh is there are 2 balls left in this 3rd over
Geoff Boycott: Blimey, that's a hell of a shot, poor ball yes, but my word a lovley shot, powerful, but controlled.
Jonathan Agnew: Mortaza bowls the last ball of the 5th over, and he drives and this will be his fifty, an incredible assault on the Bangladeshi opening bowlers, to give Wales a really good head start in this innings
Geoff Boycott: Five fours, four sixes, a great knock, and without sounding too premature, it could have won the match, or at least a very crucial knock, superb start for the Welsh
