Warne may consider Test return

Our seamers are enough to Kill England ;) we dont need Warney or Gilly anymore.

I think that English players have a mental block against playing leg spinners and so Australia should persist with at least one leg spinner in their side against England.

Unless the conditions are extreme, I think 3 seamers and 1 spinner should be the formula for any winning side.

Australia should have used both spinners in 2005. When McGrath went down, it wasn't good enough to carry players simply because of the speed that they bowled at, when in truth they should have been dropped. The irony of that statement is that Lee and Tait were more useful than Kasprowicz and Gillespie.

There are a few grounds in England that have a tendency to seam around, but as Warne says, 'if it seams, it spins.' If your leg spinner is in your best 4, there is no reason to drop him.

Well Stuey will play as our only spinner :)

Stuey might not last lomg ,I fear. Dan Cullen,Cam White or Beau Casson I reckon.

Who cares what everyone thinks. Let him support whoever he wants! So what if he's Indian?

As much as I would love to see Shane back in cricket the IPL hasn't really tested his body that much. I mean the most he has to bowl is four overs a game and field for a maxiumum of 16. That isn't that much. The media really blew it out of proportion - as usual to get a story. I am sure Australia will do fine with MacGill/Casson etc.

I just want to say, that if Warne plays, Australia will definitely win the ashes. However, if I were Shane or Cricket Australia, I wouldn't want to play.

Australia have produced the best legspinner in history. However, they need to move on. In my opinion, if Warne plays for Australia at the age of 48 he will still excell.

But for now, they have to use Mcgill for a year or so before he retires. In that year, they can develop Casson while finding another young spinner in Australia (I don't know many) and develop him so that in the future so that for the next ten years Australia will be secured in the spin department.

If Warney comes back, it will mess up the reconstruction effort put in by the CA since the departure of some of their legends, and have been further hampered by Gilly's departure. Australia can't affort to look through the past for their answers - they need to try and create a bright future - who knows, Casson could develop into another Warne!

From a personal standpoint as well, I don't think that Australian could hope for a better end to test career than an Ashes series Whitewash at home - his record is untarnished, and if he comes back, everybad spell will be magnified, and even if he bowls well, which he will, his decision will always be known by the public as a mistake.
LOL!!!

Bit optimistic. Seriously, if he gets a game then his probably one of the worst ever players to ever wear the baggy green.
