Yeah, that phrase is hinting at him being killed by a fellow Townie. Definitely some hidden "surprise" in action, i'd say. No reason for the Mafia to not kill someone.

Aren't both of you helping mafia? Due to this, mafia will kill other townies who have PR.

Well, role claim is one of those things in mafia that gives us a solid results to map the scum. Point here was not just role claim and put the PR roles at risk but also that the people hiding behind the fictional character come out and get caught. Obviously there were risks involved but atleast it will help us to rule out possible roles and find the rest of the characters.

Assuming Rudi is telling the truth and CC was a townie with PR. Ashutosh, Yash, CK & Asprin left in the game and two of them are mafia. See? Didn't I tell you this will be easy to crack.

CC can't be a Vanilla Townie because I'm. And also if TV wants to reveal the CCs role, he can. I'm sure that filters out the PR roles of town. We can role claim to reveal the alignment but not the PRs.
