Weird phobias

Don't know how bad your case is Yudi, but perhaps you should start looking into getting a dog of your own.
I already have a parrot so I won't be getting a dog anytime soon. I am afraid that the dog may hurt my parrot.

And whenever I see a dog on the street, I take some other route. If there is no alternative, I just stand at one place until the dog goes away or I just wait for a person having a walk and start walking besides him till I reach at a good distance away from the dog.

Up to you. Just an option if it really does affecting your life like it did mine.

Plus, the dog won't hurt the parrot lol

I also fear dogs. Like Yudi I also will change route if I see a street dog wandering about.

haha, I remember me taking half kilometer extra (longer route) to escape from ONE particular dog, when I was small :p.
Till now, I fear that dog! Its still alive and whenever I go to my friends place, I go in a longer route, even if I'm on bike :D.

when I was little I didn't like big aggressive dogs which would jump at me in the park. I just dislike them now but I won't panic like when I was 6 or 7.

People who freak out around dogs deserve to be bit. My dog has never bit anybody save for one stupid girl who screamed loudly and ran away from him when she saw him, naturally he chased her down and chomped on her leg, it was hilarious

Yes. Someone who is scared of something deserves to be attacked by their weakness. Somewhat flawed logic there, although I guess it could hilarious for Homophobes.

overreaction and exaggerated movements are what cause people to be bitten by otherwise calm and reserved dogs.

I can't stand people who get hysterical around an animal and then wonder why the animal is reacting negatively.

And yes, it's hilarious when they actually do get bit

If they have a phobia they're going to act irrationally even if its to the detriment of the situation such as provoking the dog. They can't control it.

I once sprinted out of the Natural History Museum when I was confronted by a stuffed Emu in the Ornithology section, thankfully I didn't provoke it much.

would you have run the same way if it was an ostrich? or is it just emus :p
