Looks like this one will be a draw if Lara gets going he'll make 300 odd and basically waste any time for a result.

If Lara settles down properly, especially the first session, then you never know!!

Regret on not including him in my fantasy cricket team....

shame on you :))

How about a VBookie event ?
How many runs would Lara score ? :cheers

Wow Deja-vu

Ganga bowled again by a ripper of a Shan Bond yorker. This time a slower ball also. An exact mirror of the one from the ODI in CHCH where it landed. Amazing. We needed that breakthrough.

Not that breakthough they needed though. Lara is the one to get out unless NZ plan on bowling the rest of the WI and leave Lara not out.

This is exceptional attacking fast bowling from Bond. That bouncer was amazing. This is good cricket.

Lara isn't in the best shape at the moment, last Franklin over there were a lot of mistimes shots in the air. He was half lucky. it was poor bowling though from Franklin.

He may look bad but hes already past 50, we all know what happens now. He looked bad when he went onto that big 100 in Aus too. Kiwis are in trouble I would say.

Lara has finally found form, but unfortunately a little late for the WI. At least he's proved he isn't finished.

They just hit 13 runs in Franklin's over. West Indies are in a good position for now.

Lara has just been bowled by Astle. I hope the rest of the players can pick up the score and build a good innings.

Such an unlucky way to get out. Bottom edge onto the pads and then onto the stumps.

And the Bond Vs Lara battle was a beauty which you have to say Lara won.

A bit of a fight shown by Morton and Bravo, the good thing about the emerging players taking the responsiblity is the fact that they're not haunted by years of losing and can gain the confident culture. But realistically, that'll never happen...

Morton is a real talent, hes being going great guns in NZ. Can't believe he wasn't picked in the 1st test cause his ODI form was that good. Bravo is showing he can be in the side as a batter only.

The question is who does he replace when Sarwan comes back into the side. He might take Ganga's place as opener.

The rain is still coming down, and the forecast doesn't look good for the rest of today or tomorrow. Heading for a dull draw I'm afraid. At least WI will avoid the whitewash though.

Most likely Ganga but can Morton open? Maybe play Bravo over a bowler when he can bowl again and bring Sarwan back with Morton still in the side.
