Which Career Mode would you prefer?

Ross said they have plans for both in the future, but be a pro is my preference now.

Certainly an individual player - the Master League in PES (my only real experience with a good career mode) works only because of the structure of international football as a set of club level teams with promotion and relegation being a normal thing.

By being player focused, you can go through a journey in cricket that would be anyone's dream - work your way up to the national side - whereas a team focus you're just trying to win a yearly tournament over and over? Occasionally changing leagues or becoming a coach of a totally different side mid way though?

Obviously it'd be nice having the option, but I'm very happy this was the one chosen.

Dont think anyone could have said it any better!!! :cheers

Also, where do you go with then manager mode in future!! I mean there are cricket managing games out there where you set the expected r.p.o, whether the batsman should be more aggressive or defensive etc, but all these calculations you are already making in any match you play!! The only side to management left is hiring/firing players and staff....handling promotions etc!! Surely, a be a pro mode is more fun than the above! Also, Be A Pro mode looks much more expandable for the future versions of the game!

Was that on purpose Dutch?:spy

Career mode for me. Never been a fan of ''Be A Pro'' but this has never been tried out for cricket so of course I'm intrigued by it, Just have to wait and see.

yeah but Big ant is trying to make it a better game and not poorer. Dropping an an already developed and tested feature from the game and giving it a new direction only because it was not as fun speaks a lot.

Ross said on the official forum that same people who found RLL2's career mode fun were not too happy with how it worked for Cricket and hence the decision.

if this full team management mode is practically completed it seems like a waste of time and i would love to play a management team mode so it would be great if you could put it in and im sure loads of people will play it :(

desperate plea

Would love to play Management mode any day over be a pro. I love playing ultimate Team.

I like the manager mode more ...probably. actually I appreciate the chance of getting to play any of them to be honest. As the saying goes, beggars can't be choosers.

Would love to have an ultimate team kinda mode in the game!! But for that to happen, the game would need a huge user base and licenses of all cricketing nations....am talking from the player auction perspective!

I love the be a pro idea, something new. Especially being implemented in a cricket game is just great :D It will make us value our wicket more when we bat, we'd have to assess the situation we are in - whether to block out a test match or score 50 off 20 in a twenty20. I can't wait :thumbs

Plus we would need to be consistent as well else our ranking will drop!! Never in the previous games have we ever given a thought of preserving our wicket....not atleast till we were 8 down after slogging everything away :p!! This mode brings a whole new perspective into the game!!

I honestly think Be A Pro mode will add something great and unique. Ross is right when he says that cricket is a very different sport to rugby, football and such. You do not have seasons for the highest level and that's the big difference.
