I was having real problems downloading the patch on vista. Everytime I tried to download the patch it would come up with the error "Checksum (2) failed". It would then say "Patching Failed" and crash.
I emailed Childish Things and they told me that I had a corrupted file somewhere in my game, and that I should should uninstall and then reinstall the game. I did this and it solved my problems. The patching worked on the first attempt.
