There's a different version of this game we used to play in acting classes. What happens is someone starts with a word and the next person has to say a word linked in some way to the previous word. The twist is you have to make the link as tenuous as possible, for example: River, Bank, Blood, Cells, Prison and so on.
There was also a clapping rhythm involved that was designed to throw you off and force you to do two things at once. The point of that game was to make your acting choices more imaginative, but it can be fun playing it just for the hell of it!

If anyone's up for it, I'll start it off. I didn't think it was worth making a new thread for as it's a similar game.
