A wonderful win for the Hawks as they upset the Cobras on their own turf. Hawks after winning the toss decided to bat first, they started off slowly with not many runs scored in the first 6 or so over's. The Hawks then got going and finished with 159/4 from their 20 over's, all batsman getting starts, Lyons back in the side making 36. It was Yashwanth's 26* off 14 balls though that proved crucial in their total score. It was normally Hedger who got away at the start but he struggled and the captain had to take the attacking into his own hands hitting 33 off 21 balls. The vice captain ended up wasting his innings, out for 21 off 41 balls. Michael decided to get things moving with 33 off 15 balls. Wickets fell at regular intervals in an attempt to lift the run rate and it was probably what cost them in the end as they fell 4 runs short of their target. Jono's batting training wasn't enough as he finished 23* off 17 balls. MOTM went to Raj Sharma after his spell of 3/16 from 2 over's at the end to push his team over the line. A great match and a needed win for the down on morale Hawks who are disorganised and needing a new captain to help them on their way up.

Finally some action!! Way too long break. That's why we lost. We got lazy. Specially Hedger. 41 ball SR 50 in T20!! Run a lap now. Burn those fat

plan to open with spinner work better this time, then last time

MacLovin added 0 Minutes and 56 Seconds later...

*Hides after his bowling performance*

Ya you! Look at your belly!! It's HUGGE!! Run a mile! You stick to opening!

great match there; the hawks did pretty well keeping brendon quite in this match, and the taking of wickets at regular intervals made sure the pressure was on throughout the match which made winning the game very difficult for us.

I'm not focusing on the negatives in my batting :yes i went out there and hit a sweetly timed cover drive but then got bowled trying to do a dilscoop/mcscoop :)

lol Hedger fails!
btw I wasn't not out at the end...

Most economical bowler in the game and most economical OD bowler bowls only two overs :facepalm
