Story World Cup 2008

England look to have this in the bag.

England after the 40th over are in a commanding position against Kenya in the World Cup. England have only lost 1 wicket and are 126. England have taken their time getting to the 100 as most teams only take 20 overs to hit the 100 but the Poms have taken 40 overs, and only have 10 overs left to produce another 80 runs to win. They have 60 balls remaining and 80 runs to get if they are going to trouble the Finals.

England miss

The 3 players for England havent risked anything as yet. Hardly any boundaries, which is credit to the Kenya fielding postions. The England batters have found the gaps through their defence which made it hard for England to score. If they did get the gaps, it was well feilded by one of the fieldsmen and the Poms only picked up singles from the ball. Thats why England have struggled to this point only making 126 from 40 overs.

Paul Collingwood made the oppourtunty of batting at number 1, and produced a well and exellent half century. Colllingwood couldnt find the boundaires thanks to the fielding positions from the Kenyian's, but Collingwood did find the gaps alot and ran hard with Strauss for the 2's and the singles. Collingwood looked back in good form after missing a few games through injury, but Collingwood looked settled out the middle, and looked back to the great one-day player he used to be.

With 10 overs to go, Andrew Strauss and Michael Vaughan are still at the crease. Andrew Strauss is still at the crease, making 57 not out, and Michael Vaughan is not out on 16. England need 80 runs from 60 balls to come, can the win it.

He replaces the spin coach at Australia then Glenn Mcgrath becomes the seamer coach of Australia, and together they become very good coaches with loads of wickets together with the combined experience they are a forced to be reckoneded with as the world knows very well.

If this is wrong do i get reps for the effort :p

Shane Warne does it again.

Shane Warne has been known to shock the world right at the second. And the 39 year old has done it again. After 2 years being with the England Cricket Club, and taking them to high glory, Warne has told the England board that he wants to quit when the 08 World Cup is over. Warne signed a 2 year deal with England right after the 06-07 Ashes Series against England where Australia dominated 5-0. Warne has told the England board that he wants to leave and go and coach another side. Alot of people are thinking a struggling side like Ireland or Bermuda, but huge rumours are that Buchanan the Australia coach, will be retiering at the end of the World Cup and Warne has already talked himself into the coaching role of Australia.
