Why is D-S-B always after my players ?? I was so confident starting from college to my home thinking KP would be mine but with 3 hours to go , the guy comes in and outbids me :facepalm

Get over it. People have outbid me on players that I wanted but I didn't make a big deal of it like you're doing here.
It's an auction, it's what happens.

Two more matchwinners join the Platinums

The Platinums have yet again grabbed two quality players in the form of Colin Ingram and Mohammad Asif, the former is an amazing young talented batsmen who can destroy the opposition's bowling while the latter is an amazing bowler who can swing the ball both ways effectively and is a strike bowler and a partnership breaker. Dipak said that he is ecstatic to grab both of them, though he had to hole his purse for Ingram, he doesn't regret it. He mentioned that Asif for 50K is a total bargain.

Jumbo now with the Yellows

Youthful yellows have officially signed 40 year old veteran Anil Kumble for a reasonable price of $ 700,000 . Kumble thereby justified the sole reason for his absence in the IPL 4 auctions . He said he always wanted to take his career to a level higher by working with the Yellows as they bid to claim the much precious WPL trophy in their sixth attempt .

Another base price pick by the Rapid Reds in the form of the flamboyant Rohit Sharma

Deccan+Chargers+v+Kolkata+Knight+Riders+IPL+J4y_VSLRssXl.jpg

Young Indian cricketer Rohit Sharma is the newest entrant into the Rapid Reds' squad. The player much known for his technique and the ability to shift gears when needed was bought by the Reds at a base price of $50,000.

Abhishek Sharma, the manager of the Rapid Reds said, "Rohit Sharma is a perfect cricketer. He can bat well, bat aggressively and sensibly, bat at any position and also he bowls very well. The hat-trick he took against the Mumbai Indians in the IPL is just a small example of his all-round technique. The way he bats when chasing a huge total it amazing. I still remember how he scored 20 odd runs in the final over for the Deccan Chargers against Kolkata Knight Riders to win the match for DC. This all-rounder has gone un-noticed in the auction and that became beneficial to us. I can undoubtedly say that Rohit is one cricketer to look forward to in this season of WPL."
