Bradman
Sachin
Lara
And many more who have played a lot fewer matches than these...

Rubbish. It is impossible to compare batsmen of different era's, and therefore impossible to say the greatest ever. My personal opinion? Bradman. Lara doesn't even fit into my top 10, he's too inconsistent.
