I had used the official patch but it doesn't exist on TransmissionGames site anymore hence I don't have that also

90 % at planet cricket will be playing ac09 if they had anything to do with cricket after all I PLAY IT A HOUR OR 2 DAILY
it is the best cricket game till now and btw it takes 30 sec on my pc not a very high game rig either

Ziddu requires 10,000 downloads so if you consider that even Best Patch of year also has maximum of 1000 downloads so it's highly unlikely you will earn 10,000 downloads.

@Hitty- You can find many mirrors of patch on internet. You can try on PC serer now and I am sure the file won't be corrupt this time.

I am also waiting for next version of BIG Editor so I can release adboards then I will think whether to continue patch making or not.

Hitterman, I think Colin once pointed me in your direction when I asked if a field editor could be made. If you could do this, and if AbBh releases the next version of the Big editor enabling the editing of adboards/pitchads/faces etc then this game really would become more popular again.

I strongly recommend you download the patch if you can (I'm using Beta patch 1 as I feel the edges are more realistic than in Beta 2), and give it another try. The inserting of kits/stumps/bats etc using AbBh's editor is easy once you get to know how.

Also, regarding the slow loading times you've experienced, run itunes or windows media player in the background (doesn't even have to be playing a song, just running in the background), and see if that improves loading times. Don't know why, but it certainly does for me.

I'm still loving this game, but if only the above could be achieved it'd improve it still further.

Lol, I always run media player in background not because to improve loading but to get rid of horrible commentary :doh as I hear songs in background . I didn't even know it that it improves loading time before
