Wrestling thread

I'm with Lee, I thought the only people who watch this garbage are pre-teens and rednecks

mm, I was really into it when I was about 12, but then I hit a stage where I was like - ohk, these guys are really bad actors, and this is just weird. As Lee said, I'll watch it if nothing else is on tho, it's good for a laugh.

As much as i have hammered people on here i just watched bit of an episode of wwe, man its so gash compared to the old wwf days from what i remember, john cena leaving was the one i see, from the limited knowledge of wwe i have of the present day i thought cena was pretty cool.

Yeah - I liked Cena, it won't be the same without him. They're getting rid of too many top people all at once - HHH has been out for ages as well and of course, HBK has packed it in.

You're right about how much better it was when it was WWF, before the 'other' WWF got shirty about them using the same initials.

Someone said that Cena is returning, is it true? And where has HBK gone, retired?

O right thats why they changed the name then, i stopped watching it in the early 90's if i remember rightly.
Gota say i did like cena's intro song.

Also caught a glimpse of tna a couple of weeks back its full of ex wwe wrestlers.
Hulkster
Rick flair
Jeff hardy
rvd
mr kennedy
Plus another couple i cant remember their names.

Cena is still around trying to take out the Nexus. He will probably be "hired" back soon enough. And yeah, Shawn Michaels has retired.

Smackdown is just boring now. I am tired of this Edge-Kane storyline and I heard MVP was released from WWE, so how come he fought last night?

That's like the only main thing that is happening on Smackdown at the moment. But Edge torturing Kane by using Paul Bearer is pretty funny in its own way though. :lol

What was Jerry Lawler doing in the championship story line? Story line is going worse show by show. Will someone make them realize that the shows are 200% flop these days.

And if this is going to happen,

Probably, WWE can stop the current series and start retelecasting the shows of 95's-2000's.

Is he Cena or Rey Mysterio or just some one else?

It seems, Juan Cena has made his debut in a triple threat Vs Barrett & Miz.

This reminds me Hogan's storyline as Mr.America. Are they trying too much to get the hit shows?

Miz Vs Lawler - Championship match with Miz winning in the end because of interruption of Cole took me by surprise. I mean, Lawler is too old to be used plus, Miz is worthless to hold the championship. I predict Kofi Kingston or Zack Ryder to hold the Heavyweight championship soon :p

Kurt Angle's around there as well I think. TNA is good!

I'm liking Cena's guerilla warfare against the Nexus. :)

This 'Juan Cena' stuff is pure nonsense, but I liked The King getting a title match - especially as it meant that prat Cole got a good beating. Can't stand the Miz though.

The same thing has happened before. Hulk Hogan was fired in early 2000s and he came back as captain America :facepalm. WWE is just replaying the story line with a few twists.
