Wrestling thread

You know it's a bad era, when a goat faced karate kid is the main player.

Hahaha spot on! He was just brought to WWE in-case someone gets injured then he would replace him but somehow accidentle he got some fans and became the main superstar.

----------

did undertaker really stab the pen on lesner's hand?

Brock's hand would be bleeding if The Phenom had really stabbed the pen.

So finally Daniel Bryan got what he wanted a match with HHH at wrestlemania,if he beats HHH then he will get a shot at wwe world heavy weight championship.Yes!!! Yes!!! Yes!!!.:cheers

I don't think Daniel will beat The Game... I Predict this match will end with controversy... only way Triple H lose this match is by Mr.McMahon Involvement...

Say what you want, but Bryan is currently giving one of the best action in WWE. Bryan, Ziggler, etc: these guys' matches have a lot of freshness.

No it's called being brainwashed

wwe has done their job, they have made Bryan look the weak hard up under dog

Now they are slowly building him up to finally take the title, and all you lot have been taken for the ride.

Build someone up and cash in on them.

And for the record all he does is kick people and dive through the ropes

I didn't mean freshness in terms of their storylines, but their in ring action. I'd much rather have somewhat unpredictable, quick paced action than a veteran wrestler continuously doing the only 3 perfected moves he can do, along with looks and shouts/stares. This is the reason why John Cena lost most of his popularity too.

You do know that they are told what moves that can and can't do.

Cena does not decide his moves or his character, the same with all the wrestlers, it's just a show, they are stars of that show, people above call the shots

He is not going to come, I doubt it. From what I read last, he has been removed from all WWE major projects( except one animated proj ) and franchise is almost giving it up on Punk!

Who knows, if they bring him somehow as surprise material to distract & make Daniel to win - it would be fantastic but I am very skeptical as his assignments to various wwe projects is getting terminated one by one.

Very clear that you haven't watched any old school wrestling story lines to define 'best'! :)

Yup totally agree. But current storyline is somewhat better than it used to be when Vicky/BookerT/AJ were running the shows as GM. Atleast current one is trying to be as better as it could be, but it used to be even worse especially smackdown.

Yes, I know. But I'm taking it at face value, the way one can see it currently. That's what you get at the end of the day anyways.

1. I was talking about "current" action.
2. I was talking about in-ring action, not story lines.

My favorite WM30 moment - Rock/Austin & Hogan in the same ring.

I was shocked to see Taker loosing his golden run against Brock, completely doesn't deserve to make this history. I would have been happier if TripleH or Shawn Michaels has done this compared to Brock. This golden run can never be achieved again, & it is shame that they compensated for some irregular/inconsistent athlete(performer) of the business.

But this was the moment, they did that so that the people will remember that Undertaker's streak ended at WM30, just to make WM30 memorable and luckily, Brock got the opportunity to fight with Taker, actually he deserved to achieve something big in WWE, I has been the real champ too...in UFC or whatever it is. :p

It was soo predictable that Bryan will win, or the whole WM would get flopped.
