With last 5 minutes to go, the tension was widespread - Will Ash retain his title & be a champion in his very first match? Will somehow Edge regain his pride? Will Yudi or Marley or Umaga have their first title around them? All remained as the open questions.

Umaga, as soon as he entered into the ring, took the steel steps in his hands & appeared furious in front of everyone. " Umaga vs Hedger should be a good contest ", shouted in sarcasm, Justin Roberts!

Umaga started attacking everyone. Yudi, Edge, Marley & Ash.. all became the victims of Umaga's scary shots. He used steel steps as well as hammer as his weapon. Even the master minded Edge became clueless of Umaga's attempts.

Time is ticking & it's just few moments away. Can Ash retain the title? :confused:

With Umaga busy in attacking Ash & Marley in one end, Edge secretly took that steel steps & attacked Yudi in a furious way! BAAAAAAAAAAANNNG! Yudi was down to the mat!

HANG ON.. UMAGA TOOK THE CHAIR & ... BAAAAANNNNNG!!! BAAAAAAAAANNNG! Both Edge & Ash falls down. Marley was already down. Now NONE is UP except UMAGA. He GOES for a pinfall..

1.....2......3! HERE IT COMES.. THE MOMENT FOR UMAGA! UMAGA IS NOW THE CHAMPION WITH JUST COUPLE OF MINUTES LEFT. :siren :siren

The battle cotinues for the next couple of minutes too. Everyone was attacked without mercy, but there was no pinfall after Umaga's. Time kept ticking & it was just few seconds away from the finish of the match.

It was when an explosive suplex came from ASH ( from top of the rope ) on YUDI, the time count came to 00:00:00. Referee went for the BELL!

SO, THAT's IT.. UMAGA BECOMES A NEW HEAVY WEIGHT CHAMPION FOR THE FIRST TIME IN HIS WWE HISTORY. :shout

Some sad moments for Marley, Ash & Yudi. They were at their best throughout but, it was Umaga in the end who cleverly utilized Edge's tactics. Had Umaga not interfered, Edge would have retained his title during that explosive steel steps attack on Yudi.

Even Ash was unfortunate that he lost his title position in the 19th minute. Had he survived 100 seconds, Ash would have got his dreams turning true.

What a moment for UMAGA! He always looked scary but lacked tactics when comes into the ring. This time, Umaga surprised everyone by becoming a new heavy weight champion. Anyways, in just few days, Umaga has to defend his title in ROYAL RUMBLE.

What will happen in Royal Rumble? What is the fixture of Royal Rumble? To know all these, stay tuned for more info. Next match is, FIGHT FOR PRIDE - STONECOLD steve Austin vs BCVs - NO DQ match.
