Your most anticipated games of 2010?

They'll not stop making them if people are buying them, or at least won't stop using the engine, it'd be a shame if they stopped making it after the next game, there's so much they can do inside the game.

They could go to America, Japan...everywhere and a part of history lends itself perfectly.

This is my hope as well. There's so much more that can be done with it, but they also run the risk of making a franchise a bit of a joke unless they keep completely re-inventing how its played. Splinter Cell is a good example of this.

@Hmarka: Might give MW2 a try if I can borrow it from someone else. Can't see myself buying it.

At least give the single player a try. I understand its disheartening going online and getting *****. But the single player and coop spec op modes will give you a good flavor of what the game has to offer.

My biggest complaint with FPS is that there is no substitute for peripheral vision, which gets really annoying, sometimes even makes me a bit sick. MW2 would have to be extremely good to change my opinion tbh.

TBH MW2's different to the rest. I usually stay well clear of those type of gun games but it's my favourite game, even beating sport games which I adore.

Don't buy it just for the singleplayer - the campaign is pathetically short.

I am not a online Gamer so thats why I didn't buy MW2.
I like games like Assassin creed, GTA, Saints Row 2, Hitman because thet are not really a Online game.

GTA IV is a great online game.

I'm also part of this FPS hating bandwagon. I sort of enjoyed Bad Company, but it wasn't nearly as fun as AC II, AA or Uncharted 2.

I like a shooter like Uncharted.

Yeah I loved the combat on Uncharted, even better on Uncharted 2 with stealth playing a big role. I think you'd like the combat on Mass Effect but that's not option as you seem a bit xbox-phobic. :p

On FPS, I think I have a problem with games that are primarily First Person, not just the shooters. I remember playing Descent and absolutely hated it. That said, I absolutely loved FreeSpace, so I'm a little inconsistent.

Warhawk 2/Starhawk (not officially announced yet, but will be this E3)
Ashes 2010
Final Fantasy 14

Top 3 games I'm looking forward to this year :D Other than that this year is full of shooters. MAG this week, AvP next month, BFBC2 in March, new COD from Treyarch, then Medal Of Honor by year end..too many =\
