Thats an interesting move. Ramdin has been pretty good with the bat before this tour and definitely is there number 1 keeper. But may as well see what the backup keeper can do.
266 to win by Zimbabwe. Excellent 91 from Sarwan, solid 45 from Shiv and an explosive cameo from the prince for 40 off 38 balls, propelled a disappointing batting performance, nonetheless 266 seems too much...
This series is all over. As expected West Indies won comfortably now onto the bigger stuff for them and Zimbabwe now can play against teams closer to their skill levels.
I really don't think Zimbabwe should be playing any international cricket until their internal problems are sorted out. They are appaling.
I think it was the perfect series however for Shiv Chanderpaul, as coming on from his dreadful form as captain it gave him an immediate chance to get some runs and he did just that.
Well they are starting to get some talent through so it would be wrong to ban them from playing international matches. As long as the politics stay out Zimbabwe will get better. The current corp of guys are young and there is room for improvement. A bit more support financially from the ICC would help Zimbabwe.
Or the people in charge of the Zimbabwean Cricket could try spending the money on cricket and not themselves
I do agree that this is forcing some of their young cricketers to develop quicker, but each time someone gets big enough to speak out about the problems plagueing their cricket they are basically chased out of the game. Such a shame that all their most talented players are currently residing playing their trades elsewhere.
Well the only way around it is for them to keep quiet. But if we do start seeing these young guys leaving Zimbabwe definitely need to be dropped from the ICC test nations as we can't keep going around in circles.
