Get Shaheen in, and let him work his magic
And he is in the attack now. Fingers crossed!

All things aside, one thing is certain - Brendan Taylor is a certified legend!

He has proper nice hundreds against South Africa and India - plus played for the English Domestic side as well! He is far better than the associate player tag that can be associated with these players.

Pakistan looks behind the 8 ball here - exciting things for zimbabwe.

We really know how to make a game out of these matches. Literally holding off showering do I dont miss anything lol.

Yeah, we're definitely losing this. As we should. We were down right woeful today. Hopefully a loss here can shake Misbah and co back to 2020.[DOUBLEPOST=1604068198][/DOUBLEPOST]Oh, wait. Wahab Riaz is here :spy
Always thought it's gonna be tough for Zimbabwe up against Wahab and Shaheen at the death. It looks Pakistan to win now.

Madhevere looked like a player with a bright future. One to keep an eye on

5 for by Shaheen and 4 for from Wahab - and that games set match.

A lot to take out of that for both teams - not least from Pakistan who have a lot of things to reconsider (but i fear will not learn from this)

Collapse :( WTF ZIMBABWE :/

I don't care what you think, but Shaheen is the best fast-bowler in the world right now, with the highest ceiling. 3 yorkers every over, 6'5 height, intelligence, good slower ones, consistently bowling above 87 mph with a top speed of 94 mph, swing back into the right-handers and dangerous bouncers at the age of 20 aren't the characteristics of every other pacer.

He is the most talented Pakistani pacer I have ever seen.

Way too early to say this. Needs to prove himself on the big stage. He was a bit disappointing in Australia.

Now that this game is done and dusted, I'd like Misbah and Babar to rethink their approach ahead of the next ODI on Sunday.

My XI:

Fakhar - replacing Abid
Imam
Babar
Haider Ali - replacing Iftikhar
Rizwan
Shadab Khan/Khushdil Shah - replacing Haris Sohail as his injury today looked serious
Imad Wasim
Wahab Riaz
Musa Khan/Hasnain or even Zafar Gohar if the track assists spinners - replacing Faheem Ashraf
Haris Rauf
Shaheen Afridi

4 good pacers, 2 proper spinners (assuming Shadab gets fit and thus replaces Haris Sohail), and strong aggressive batting till #8, with only 2/3 accumulators, instead of the 6 today. Haider, Fakhar, Shadab/Khushdil, and Imad should form an effective power-hitting pack.

Edit: Babar Azam also hints at changes in the next game

The poor man at 19 got a 6-fer in the World Cup and was our best bowler, got an 8-fer in his FC debut, was the only positive thing about the Qalandars' bowling this season and the highest wicket-taker, troubled New Zealand and Australia in his first two series on dead wickets of UAE, was the most impressive Pakistani pacer in the Asia Cup, bowled well against South Africa in his maiden tour, got a fifer against Sri Lanka at home, already has 93 international wickets in 2 years of international Cricket, and many many more.

Also, he had the best average from the Pakistan attack in Australia (36.8). He scalped Labsuchange twice, Steve Smith, Burns, and Paine once. Not sure how that is disappointing for a 19-year-old's first tour of Australia, that too when he is surrounded by inexperienced rookies...
