Ojha should come in place of Vijay, I think Jadeja is fine there and removing Pathan isn't great.

There's no point of dropping Jadeja...when he's done nothing wrong. Yes, he gets hit in Twenty20s, but so do many bowlers. Solid batsman when there's a collapse too. He got lucky today, but generally he gets no luck, so no issue there. Don't get the hate for Jadeja, seriously. The likes of Yusuf need to be dropped though. Vijay can get a few more chances, but hopefully Naman comes in. I don't know why Vijay's batting so cautiously though...madness really.

Meh, Mithun is too raw and should've gone to England. An average of 40 in his first List A season too. Should play Ashwin over Yadav/Dinda. Hell, if playing 4 spinners wins us the match, why not? But, it's Sri Lanka next, so that might not work.

Dinda is pretty much raping the slower ball out there however. Needs to learn to use it sparingly.

He admitted that on the whole, batting was struggling, but big scores from openers come above all else. You want openers who will take advantage of having all that time at the crease and get you big scores; they look like doing everything but that. Karthik looks okay, generally always does, but he's just not that big a scorer.

I actually wonder if Jadeja is worth a punt, having scored quite a few runs in ODIs. He's obviously got a calm temperament, the question is just whether he's got the technique to face the new ball.

Probably a more obvious candidate would be Rohit Sharma. He's been in good form and has the sort of game that can exploit fielding restrictions. He's demonstrated that he can bat for a long time and you might argue that he needs to in order to slim down.

Of course, all this is beside the point. First, they have to win the toss.

Rohit Sharma? Probably. We just need someone who can exploit the Powerplays - Naman Ojha has shown he can do that, so why not just pick him? He opens anyway.

The thing about Jadeja is that he's not a finisher, he's better at playing the anchor role, and once he's set, he looks better at hitting the big shots. But, the problem is, in this batting line-up, he's only going to bat 7.
