And deservingly so. KDK, Vijay, Ashwin, Pragyan and Vinay are the only South Indian players I see anyway...

Wtf, Pankaj Singh? Seriously? Oh god, I fear that the likes of Yusuf Pathan and Jadeja are going to bat up the order and pummel some hapless bowling (ala domestic cricket) and retain their spots for a longer time in the 'real' team. I would have def. given some other guys a go, like Irfan, Uthappa, Nayar, etc.

Not sure of Raina as captain, again. Was very disappointing with CSK. Would have happily given KKD a go as skipper. Besides the fact that I have a mancrush on the guy (), he looks like a good prospect.

Yep, looks like Wridhi has officially lost his spot at 3rd keeper. Naman deserves it though, could give Karthik a run for his money if he has a good tour.

Shall I say that its because previously South Indian players found it very hard to break into the national side and were treated unfairly by the selectors inspite of them being good. It has always been a grouse for us that South Indian players havent got their proper due. So now after Srikanth came in, South players are getting their proper due but since others arent used to seeing this many South players, you feel as if they are getting unfair advantage.

You seriously have a very big crush for Karthik. He doesnt even have a permanent spot. With Dhoni as keeper, Karthik can play only as batsman and its very hard for a keeper in India to slot in just as a batsman (because our batting riches will never allow such a thing to happen). A player who has almost a permanent spot will be groomed and Raina is that guy (apart from Gambhir, Yuvraj and Sehwag all of whom are rested)

Dont worry about Yusuf/Jadeja. If the pitches are lively, they will fail for sure. And I expect Zimbabwe to dole out some lively pitches. Most likely, SL will roll both teams over.

The best young talent i liked in the IPL. He could be a good bowler, let's just wait and watch.
