Please. It's not a matter of our opinions, anyways, as I stated right back at the top, which you seemingly ignored. Almost any former cricketer or cricket writer agrees that Ganguly is near the cream of the crop when it comes to the off-side. So there's no point dilly-dallying.

Besides, it's a well-known observation that left-handers look far more fluent and prettier with the bat than right-handers, for most viewers. Sangakkara has a pretty beautiful cover-drive. If you took a mirror image, it wouldn't look as good.

It was nice to see him pump his fists in the direction of Krishnamachari Srikkanth (our chairman of selectors) and Srikkanth let out a big smile (it was Srikkanth who was instrumental in bringing back Ganguly).

Srikkanth was the one who tore Ganguly up in the media during the 2003 WC and had problems with him. How life comes a full circle!!

The actual thing is that Dhoni is a good captain. Under his captaincy India have won 2 Tests already and almost all seniors were there in those matches that means everyone likes to perform when he's there as a captain. I don't know what special he has but its still something great.

LOL We won because of seniors players who performed not because of Dhoni. SA series Ganguly scored 80 odd runs on a very difficult pitch and then spinners did the job. Yes Dhoni is a good captain but he shouldnt be a test captain because he sucks outside India.

And if he sucks outside India,please explain as to how on earth did India win the T20 WC and the Commonwealth Bank series ?
